Just woke up? Ten minutes ago?
I refused to explain that I had taken ten minutes just to figure out which tie to wear.
Maybe I was getting out of hand...
With a sheepish smile I replied,
"Great. My treat. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my car so we'll have to walk."
I started walking down after doing a wave of my hand to motion her to come along. When I reached the sidewalk, I asked,
"So... What are you in the mood to eat?"

"I prefer walking to driving, actually," Kevia confessed, "Though I usually have Shasta with me rather than an actual person. Mostly because she scares anyone who comes near."

Eating? Heh. I'm not really much of a breakfast fan. So maybe something light. I don't want to burn Lance's pocket or anything. I need him to like me so he doesn't take my dog away.

Kevia rubbed her shoulder, it ached much less than yesterday, but rather felt scabbed and uncomfortable. She should have thought more about wearing her normal clothing style. An over-sized shirt would have been just as appropriate, and covered her wound. She didn't need a constant reminder that her dog had to go. She tugged her shirt over it, trying to make the movement look at least a little bit natural.

"Whatever is nearest is fine. Is that new fast food place open this early, do you know?" 

I noticed her fidgeting with her shirt and it was then that I realized that I still haven't healed her wounded shoulder. I was so caught up in the girl herself, that I forgot about the whole point of talking to her!
I did a deep sigh to control myself. This never happened before. What was wrong with me?
"I hope it is. I've been wanting to go there ever since it first started."
I said as I started going towards the new fast food place. 

((Sorry for late response XD I was entranced by my cats hunting a cricket. I hope they kill it. Crickets smell be when they die XD)) 

"Alrighty then, I think I know where it is. I went there with Colette once, when Shasta was smaller and easier to manage, of course, and we walked then," Kevia said.

"However, I have trouble with directions seven days a week," Kevia admitted with a half shrug. I know how to get there, it's just a few blocks away, I think. Stupid directions. 

Timeskip until arrival? Or RP the walk there?

"I think I'll just get something small, most days I find myself skipping out on breakfast," Kevia admitted.

"You don't really have to pay for me, I can fend for myself," she said with a playful nudge on the shoulder. She didn't want to sound offensive or anyhting, but it peeved her when she couldn't pay for herself. 

((You said that you had writers block with her, so you made her leave and said that we'd continue after the timeskip. I didn't want to pressure you into RPing something you didn't want to though, so I didn't bring it up.))

Kevia sighed as a surrendering statement, "I'll just have some fries please," she said, trying to be polite.

She wasn't going to spend her time arguing with Lance; if he wanted to pay for her food, why should she have a problem with that? Isn't that how it worked?

Well, that's how it works with couples. None of her guy-friends ever offered to pay for her, except once because he was scared of Shasta. Was Lance scared that she would set her dog on him? The thought hadn't occured to her before. What if that was the only reason he was being nice at all? 

((Hi there... So sorry I disappeared, I'm starting school again and it took more concentration then I expected. I'll probably only be on weekends from now on, and maybe not every weekend either. :C If you don't want to do a slow RP, I understand, and I guess we can drop this one, but I really do want to do this. c:

As for Paradise and Kourga meeting agin... how about she left her wallet or something at the store, and he goes to her house to return it to her? It would have had identification in it, so that's how he would have known.))

Kevia sighed hopelessly. There was no way she was going to eat a large fry.

She sat down at a table by the window with two chairs. The table was smooth and marble, but as she ran her hand over its shine, she felt how greasy it was. She reeled back in slight disgust, and left her hands in her lap.

For some reason, I do slow rp's better on there. D: Maybe because it's hard to lose it. Lol.
