As Andrew was about to follow Nikki and Nick, he noticed a flash of motion behind him. He felt hot breath tingling the back of his kneck, and he turned around, seeing it was the girl from before. Awkwardly, he cleared his throat and croaked a "Hello." He was still slightly surprised by her sudden appearence behind him.

Nikki ignored the Nick's hand on her back, for she was getting used to it. She was practically laying on Andrew for at least a couple hours. She was getting used to the touch.
"Thanks.." She said, before taking greedy gulps of the water.

"We have food if you're hungry, and there's an entertainment room down the hall." Nick smiled, and leaned up against the wall. "If Ella scared you, I truly am sorry. She was only meaning to mess with Andrew, not you." He smiled, and rolled his shoulders. "Did she explain what's going on?"

Ella stared at Andrew, her blue-grey eyes taking in his facial expressions. He was a bit surprised, but it wasn't what she had hoped for. "Would you... like to start over?" She looked down, and shuffled her feet, all traces of agressiveness leaving her. She was asking for the two of them to restart. In other words, she wanted him to forgive her for the scratch, and all of the other things.

Nikki nodded her head at Nick's statement about her being hungry. She didn't realize it before but now that he had mentioned it, she realized she was. She frowned at his next response, and said, "Yeah, she did ..." She paused and looked at the ships floor, "She did explain..." She bit her lip anxiously before taking another sip of the water, not meeting his eyes.

Andrew's eyebrows furrowed as he took in what she was asking. Her attitude from before had faded, he could tell. "Uhm..." Knowing that she would drink his blood, it wasn't going to be a nice restart, but it wouldn't hurt trying right?

"Sure. I'd like that."

Nick sighed. "She can be pretty blunt at times. I'm sorry if she scared you. Ella is a... different type of girl than most. I've learned that through the years." He pointed to the table in front of Nikki and said, "Sit down. I'll prepare some food for you." He looked at her and said, "So what do you eat? Are you into sushi, cajun food, italian? You name it, and I'll fix it."

Ella was waiting for Andrew's answer, all the while looking down at her feet. When he answered, her eyes grew wide. "Really?" She smiled, her fangs flashing. "Thanks." She looked at Andrew. "Are you thirsty too? We have bottled water, sodas, wine, beer, and other things. We have food, too."

Though seeing her fangs clear as day, he felt oddly comfortable with Ella. Maybe it was a vampire thing. Or a human thing. Or, maybe both.

"Uhm, sure. Just a soda would be cool, thanks." He said, while running a hand through his hair, and went the way he watched Nick and Nikki go, guessing that was where the food and drink was.

Nikki smiled widely and Nick after taking a last sip of water. "Uhm..." She thought a moment, while taking a seat. "Actually, I do like italian." After saying that she watched as Andrew came through, she waved and motioned him to sit next to her, and he obeyed.

Ella followed Andrew, even though she knew the way like the back of her hand. She went over to Nick, and began preparing food of her own, even though she didn't need it. She pulled out rice, banana leaves, and raw fish. Ella was one of the people who liked unusual foods, so she began preparing herself a sushi roll.

Nick worked alonside Ella perfectly. He finished the spaghetti, and heaped it onto a plate for Nikki. He then turned to Andrew, and said, "What would you like to eat? If you like spaghetti, too, there's plenty left."

Ella was flustered. Her and Nick always raced to see who could cook the fastest, and Nick always won. She continued making her food.

As the two siblings cooked their meal, Nikki waited anxiously. She was just now realizing how starving she was. She looked over at Andrew, who seemed a lighter shade then normal in his face. "You okay?" Nikki asked, while forming a wide grin on her face when a plate got brought to her by Nick. "Thanks." She said with a smile before digging in.

Andrew did a slight nod at her question, and then looked up at Nick.

"Uh, I'll just take what she has." He said, plastering a smile on his face.

Nick smiled, and fixed another plate for Andrew. He cracked his neck, and leaned up against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest. "Enjoy, you two. It should taste like it's straight from Italy."

Ella finally finished her sushi, and put it onto a plate. Her dish was very ornate, and was on a square platter. She had a container of soy sauce on the plate, and she began to eat. Nick almost gagged at what Ella was eating. He hated raw fish.

Ella then realized that she had forgotten to get Andrew a drink. She got up from her seat, and grabbed two sodas out of the refridgerator. She slid one over to Andrew, and put one beside her own plate. She popped the top off of it, and drank half of it.

Andrew did a small
"Thank you." as he was handed his plate of spaghetti. Nikki was already half done hers, and he knew it was because she was starving. They both were.
He curiously watched as Ella drank her soda, saying a bit louder,
"Thanks." again for the soda, also opening it and drinking it.
By the time Nikki finished her plate - which was quite fast - Andrew finally brought up enough courage to ask,
"You say your vampires. But, your able to drink and eat human food?"

Ella ate like a true lady. She ate her food slowly, and wiped her mouth after each bite. Nick began to answer Andrew's question, but Ella stopped him.

"Um-" Nick began.

"I'll explain, Nick," Ella said, smiling at her brother. "Well, we need human blood for nourishment, but human food tastes good. In other words, we don't need food, but we eat it anyways. The food passes straight through our system, and we don't absorb any of the fat, calories, minerals, carbs. You get it?" She finished her sushi, and drank the rest of her soda.

Nick wasn't hungry for real food. He wanted blood, but he would wait a while for that.
