Ella's eyes flashed crimson, and she hissed. "Step back. Come any closer and I'll rip your neck open," she spat at Andrew, her fangs flashing with every word. She walked into the cell, which was dimly lit, and closed the door behind her, locking it with her key. "If we bite you and feed, you won't turn. The wounds heal quickly, and it only hurts a little." She cracked her neck. "However, if we bit you and immediately let go, venom is left in your system, and you begin to go through the painful changes of becoming a vampire." She began circling Nikki and Andrew like a lioness circling her prey.

She ignored Andy's questions, and kept looking at the girl, who absolutely wreaked of fear. Ella laughed at the girl's statement. "I'm not after you. I only drink mens' blood." She rolled her crimson-colored eyes, and eyed up Andy. "And I'm hungry. In other words, don't test my limits." She walked up to him, and ran her finger across his cheek, digging it into the flesh before pulling away. She looked at the blood that was on her finger nail, and licked it off. The scratch that she left on Andy's face wasn't very deep. It was just like a cat scratch.

Ella then turned around, and began to walk out. She stopped when she was half way out of the door. "Oh, and I only feed when I can't stand it anymore. My brother says it's bad for me, but who cares?" And at that, she left, closing Nikki and Andy's cell behind her.

Ella went up to the deck where her brother was. "Nick, the girl's pretty. You'd like her." She winked at her brother, causing him to let out a chuckle.

"Ella, you know that I don't fall for people. I'd end up killing them." He smiled and ruffled his sister's hair.

Ella huffed and brushed his hand away. "You know I'm not a little girl anymore," she said, frowning like a child would.

"I know, but you're still my little sister. I can't help it." He held out his arms, and wrapped them around Ella.

She sighed and said, "Brother..."

"Yes?"

"Thanks for not leaving me over in America during the Civil War. Thanks for taking me away on Jean Lafitte's ship."

"You're welcome, Sis." Nick kissed her head before going up to the steering wheel of the ship. He parked the ship over at the docks of a city over in England, causing people to gawk at how pirate-like their ship was. The crew members tied the boat up to the docks, and prepared for the two of them to leave.

"Crew," Nick said, eyeing them up.

"Yes sir," they said simultaneously.

"Ella and I are leaving to go get supplies. Watch the prisoners."

"Yes sir."

Ella and Nick got off of the boat to go buy supplies.

Several minutes later, the two of them were back with all of the goods that they needed. They loaded them onto the ship, and began to sail again. Once they were out in the open sea, and land wasn't visible, Ella went down to the prisoners' area. She opened the cell of her new favorite prisoners, Andy and Nikki, and said, "Come out on the deck. I want you to meet the captain."

"Follow me," Ella said. She walked up the stairs of the cell area, and appeared onto the deck. Nothing but water was visible. She then climbed up another set of stairs to the highest part of the deck; the controls area. There was a steering wheel-type thing, a compass, and a map.

"Hello, Seraphiel," Nick said, hugging his sister, who had approached him with the two prisoners behind them.

"Hello, Brother." Ella hugged him back, and pulled away. She pointed to the two prisoners. "That there is Andrew," she pointed to Andy, and then she pointed to the girl, "and I don't know her name." She sighed.

"Hm..." Nick examined the two prisoners. "How have you two been faring? If you would like beds, we shall pick up some new ones when we get to the next docking point. Your backs must be sore from the hard floors. We want our... guests to be comfortable. If you would like a radio, we shall get that, too."

I looked on dictionary.com but my computer is being wierd. What's 'faring'? D:

"We're sorry, but you can't go back to your home." Nick sighed. "If you go back, there's a possibility that we could be discovered. Then we would have vampire hunters on our tails." Nick looked at Nikki, then back at Ella, then to Andrew.

"Ella, you didn't scare them, did you?" He looked closer at Andrew. "You scratched the boy!" Nick turned to his sister. He grabbed her shoulder. "Don't terrorize the guests. You should know better." Nick's voice was stern, and he meant business.

Ella's eyes got all teary. "B-But I was just having a little fun..." Her bottom lip quivered.

"Don't argue with me," Nick spat, his fangs flashing.

Ella looked down, and went to the stern of the ship, where she usually sat to sulk alone.

"Don't mind my sister," Nick said, smiling at the two of them. "She's a bit... How do I put this?" Nick sighed and rubbed his temples. "She's a bit fiesty when she sees someone she likes. She doesn't normally see guys other than the crew members- who aren't attractive by any means- and myself."

Nick sighed once again. "Ella gets violent when she sees someone she likes. She does that to try to make them think that she doesn't like them. So it was her fault. She could care less about the girl's name. However, I would like to know it." Nick got down to Nikki's level, putting his hands on his knees. "Will you please tell me your name?"

Ella was laying on her back on the stern now. She was quietly singing one of her songs, and it could barely be heard over the waves and the wind.

Nick smiled. "That's a nice name. Would you like some water? You must be parched. You're free to roam the ship. However, if you cause any mischeif, the crew members will know. We're in the open seas, so I have no worries about the two of you escaping."

Ella finally got up, and went up to the crow's nest. She sat down and hummed to herself.

((The crow's nest is the place where the look out usually stands. They scan for dangers in the sea and stuff.))

Nikki didn't thank Nick for the compliment about her name, but did say. "Yes, actually. I'd like some." She let go of Andrews hand, and grinned at Nick, completely forgetting the whole 'them drinking her blood' scenerio.

It was odd enough that Nikki was all of a sudden talking more, but now she was smiling at the guy? Andrew planned on talking to her later. How was she not nervous, with the vampires? Maybe she really was bipolar...

He tried not to openly chuckle at the thought.

Nick smiled, and put his hand on Nikki's back. He led her to a room, and gave her a bottle of water. "There you go, Miss Nikki." He then stepped back to watch her. Ella was right. Nick did like Nikki a bit.

Ella peered out of the crow's nest and looked down at Andrew. She decided to mess with his head, so she jumped down, and landed no more than a foot behind him. She was close enough that he should've felt her breath on his neck.
