Ca.ssidy stopped in her tracks. She sniffed the air as she jumped through the bush to her left. A flock of ducks moved out and flew away. she whined as she sniffed the ground and continued hunting this unfamiliar scent of dog she had never smelt before. This new scent intrigued her as she began running sniffing the air and ground around her, hoping for anything that smelt like the scent she'd been following.

Klaus dashed forward in a little frenzy, snuffling and sniffling at the scent, his tail a whirlwind of excitement and... "THUMP". Klaus crashed into something. "Arp!" Klaus hopped away as he realized this bulky figure was a canine. A female labrador.

Ca.ssidy rolled backward fairly fastly. She felt like she had been hit by a truck. "Oh great I hit the freeway!! Somebody call an ambulance!!", she whined and whimpered. She stood up and shook her fur out. "Hey you mind watching where your-", she stopped mid sentence. She looked up at the dog who was slightly taller and bigger than her. A Male German Shephard.

Klaus snorted, "Oh please, you ran into me!" He took a cautious step backwards, "What are you, a bulldozer?" Only after these words left his mouth did Klaus realize this dog was what he'd been seeking. His eyes widened a bit and his jaw dropped in disbelief- but he quickly shut his mouth and lowered his gaze.

Ca.ssidy Whined and sat back on her haunches. She looked away. "And who are you supposed to be?", she asked. She watched him intently, making sure his bulky figure wasn't going to try anything funny. She watched his gaze drop and his jaw snap back together. Her eyes began to glisten a light but beautiful amberish brown and She sniffed the air. She realized she had been tracking him, not anything else.

Ca.ssidy got bright eyed, and she turned sniffling as she whined. The tears filled up in her eyes and she began walking off. "I knew trying to track this stupid smell was a mistake!", she yelled as she ran off. She couldn't believe he called her that. Ca.ssidy was really upset.

Klaus's eyes widened. "Stupid!" he exclaimed - but not to C*censored*idy, to himself. Why had he done that? He snorted gruffly, before gathering himself up and beginning to trot after the dog. He was exhausted and hungry and his ribs stuck out from his sides, but he followed her anyway.

Ca.ssidy sat up on the hill and watched over the mountains as she usually did. "Stupid, why would you even believe that he was some nice dog.", she spoke to herself. She lowered her head and sighed as she finally stopped crying. "Klaus...", she looked up at the sky and the sun felt good on her coat.

Ca.ssidy turned and growled. "What do you want?', she grumbled. She bared her teeth at him. she then realized she was in the wrong and sat back on her haunches and stopped growling. She looked at him with her head cocked slightly, waiting for him to say something.
