While Kirsty was asleep something was happening to her. Her body began to change growing fur and growing bigger. When she opened her eyes she looked around Why do i feel warmer? She thought to herself not knowing about Garret being able to hear her thoughts. She looked down and began to panic Why do i have fur and paws she thought in a panic as she fell trying to move around. She didn't know how to walk on four legs and stumbled around like a newborn pup.

"Stay calm and still." He thought to her, relieved that she could phase and that she was still alive. "Where are you?" He asked her in a calm and soothing voice. He assumed tis was her first phase, and she was confused.

Kirsty gasped Whos there She asked as she lay down whimpering. She didn't know what was happening or where she was. She suddenly let out a strange sounding howl. It sounded abit like she was being strangled but since she had only phased it was understandable.

"Shhh..." He thought to her. "Tell me what it looks like around you. Are there trees, is there a river? Anything you can that might mark wehre you are." He told her.

Kirsty calmed down abit as she looked around her all i see are trees but i can hear a river i think She thought to him thinking he was a different part of herself that was helping her. She didn't know it was Garret talking to her. She let out another howl it sounded more sad then anything.

Kirsty closed her eyes and listened. It sounds slow and big She told him as she calmed down from listening to the river. For some reason it relaxed her alot.

His eyes widened as she thought this. "Stay right where you are!" He thought desperately, running down stream to the widest and slowest place. He looked over to his left, straining his eyes to see the waterfall in the cliff not far from there. He had almost fallen down it when he was a child. He was wandering the river when he came appon it. He couldn't see it when he was younger, nor could anyone else unless they were looking for it. That waterfall had taken many lives because of that fact. He tunred his head back to the forest, looking through the deep greenery. "What does my voice sound like?" He thought. What he ment was if it sounded clearer. What direction might it sound like it was comming from. Anything different about his voice.

Kirsty looked confused it sounds deep if thats what you mean and its also moved. its close to where i can hear the river thats to my left. She thought to him still thinking that he was a voice inside her head and it made her confused on how he moved and why he asked what his voice sounded like.

Kirsty perked her head as she looked around yeah i did. You mean all this time you wern't a voice in my head and you didn't tell me? she asked feeling stupid with thinking that and that she might of made a big fool of herself.

He smiled. "No. That is what I thought my first time too. Exept my experence was a little different." He thought to her, walking twords the dirction she should be in. "Is my voice getting louder?" He asked outloud.

Kirsty looked around yeah it is she thought to him as she looked around not knowing what would happen or who was coming over to her. She decided to look at what she looked like as she looked at herself she decided that she must of been a dog or a wolf or something.

"Good" He thought, starting to run twords her. After a moment he came into a small over look of a spot in the forest. He looked down at the new wolf. "Are you okay?" He asked outloud.

Kirsty looked up seeing a wolf looking at her. She whimpered as she moved backwards "I'm ok" She said scared that he might attack her. She didn't know what to do but her insides where telling her to lay down and not to act out to him.

"It's fine." He told her, jumping down from he overlook, his pure black coat reflecting off of the snow. "Is this your first time?" He asked her, a smile on his face.

Kirsty looked at him not moving from the spot she was in. "First time what?" She asked him wondering what he was talking about. This whole day was all confusing first Garret asks to stay the night just to take her into the forest then they get attacked by a bear and he tells her to run then she gets lost and changes into a wolf or dog. She just wished she knew what was happening.

He looked up at the moon. If was full. "That is why..." He wispered to himself. On any normal night she would have never changed, but in this night, everything was different. "No, not tonight." He told her. "Now, I need you to get up." He said.
