''Haven't the foggiest.'' Was Lacota's bored reply. Last time they hadn't known where to go, he was pretty sure they'd nearly given some old dude a heart attack when they passed him three times in a row. It had been fun, regardless. ''What 'bout you?'' He asked, ignoring her comment on how studying was her life. He was glad his friend took pride in her grades, but he really didn't feel the same. Maybe because he never got any grades to be proud of.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Sanae rolled her eyes. "Okay... How about, um, I don't know!" She flung her hands up in frustration, almost hitting Lacota square in the head. That was when she heard her stomach make a little grumble. "Uh, maybe some food would be good. Before my stomach makes another dying walrus sound." Sanae said, placing her hand over her stomach. She knew that breakfast had only been an hour ago, but Sanae's stomach could act like a bottomless pit at times.

[[<3 G'night! <3]] Lacota leaned his head to the side, trying to avoid being knocked out by Sanae. She could be very violent at times, but this time he figured it was an accident. ''Jeeze, Sanae, try not to kill me first.'' He laughed, shaking his head. ''And, sure. Where you wanna go?'' He asked, tilting his head as he looked over at her before sticking his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

"Sorry, sorry." Sanae said in an apologetic voice, her hands sticking close to her side. She shrugged at his question. "I don't know, maybe that new café around the block? I really could use some herbal tea and a few light bites." Sanae loved tea, and during her stay in America seemed to have developed a rather English taste in food, preferring tea and biscuits over the traditional, more Asian foods. |

Lacota chuckled. He'd never seen anyone enjoy their tea quite as much as Sanae did. ''Hehehe... Sounds good to me! Shall we head there now?'' He asked, grinning at how Sanae kept her arms down at her side like they were going to fling up any moment or something. He supposed it was his fault, though, for comenting on it.

Sanae nodded enthusiastically with a grin on her face. Her stomach let out another small rumble, and Sanae broke off into a run. "Running helps the appetite, right?" She yelled at Lacota over her shoulder.

[[No problem. <3]] Lacota laughed, shaking his head. He'd never understood that phrase, but ran along with her anyway. He stopped outside the door of the cafe, pushing it open for Sanae to go through first. Lacota was many things- some things he didn't even know the name of- and luckily, one of those things was a gentleman.

"Thanks, Lacota!" Sanae chirped, hearing the bell above the little door dingle to alert their arrival. She quickly sought out a booth, Sanae's favorite seat because of the cushiness and privacy it offered, walking over to sit down on it. She looked at her friend expectantly with the usual smile on her face, knowing he would take the seat across from her. |

He asked, the smile still firmly at his lips. He hadn't spent time with Sanae in a while, and was determined to enjoy that day. No matter how much he began to not enjoy it, he would be happy.

"Hrmm..." Sanae mumbled as she flipped through the menu which the waitress had kindly given to them. She was known to be quite a picky eater, having an extremely selected taste. She always had a strange preference for English food, though. "Uhh... Ooo, they have scones, that's nice!" Sanae said, looking quite pleased. "That'll go really nice with tea, right, Lacota?" Sanae's eyes peered over at him from the menu. |

He chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. ''Y'know, I'm gonna have to take you to England someday.'' He mused, wondering how long it would take Sanae to eat the entire country out of house and home.

"You think you can afford the trip?" Sanae asked Lacota, not getting the joke. She then set down the menu and nudged it over to her friend, expecting him to order. Lacota was acting quite strange today, and she had hoped that some food in his stomach would only help. After all, it works for her father, why wouldn't it work for her friend? |

She shifted uncomfortably on the spot, not wanting an awkward silence to ensue between her and her best friend. "Sooo... Were you just stuck in bed all week, Lacota?" Sanae asked, bringing her gaze back up to him.

Sanae huffed slightly, not happy with Lacota and his weird laughs. She wanted to flick him on the forehead and demand for an explanation, but Sanae thought that it wouldn't be very wise to cause a scene in such a small restaurant she rather liked. So the girl contented herself with a nod, resolving to confront her friend later after the snack. Sanae's order had come quite quickly, which wasn't surprising considering there were only two more customers asides from them. She thanked the waitress, eating her scones and smiling. "These are really good." Sanae said approvingly. "You sure you don't want to eat?" |

Lacota rolled his eyes at all Sanae's huffing and puffing. Something had her ticked, and he had a feeling he'd be at the other end of her anger by the time they got outside. He forced a smile as she asked if he was sure he didn't want to eat. ''Yes Sanae, I'm sure. I'm not really very hungry.'' He said, though it was pretty far from the truth.

"Alrighty then." Sanae said, deciding to not press on the matter. She finished up quickly, setting down her empty cup of tea and signaling for the bill. Sanae was always a fast eater, and a light snack stood no chance against her voracious appetite. She left the proper amount of money, plus tip, on the counter and suddenly stood up, heading for the door and waiting for Lacota to come along with her. Her curiosity couldn't contain her, and Sanae knew that she would begin berating Lacota as soon as the two of them were out of the door.

[[Lawls, there wasn't really anything else we could've done there. xD]] Lacota watched, amused, as Sanae bulldozed into her food like it was nothing. Never before had he seen someone eat quite like Sanae and still remain as fit as she was. He sighed as Sane rushed outside, though. It only meant he'd have to deal with questions he knew would come. Standing up, he walked slowly outside, not nearly as eager to be out the doors as Sanae obviously was. As he stepped outside, he smiled brightly to her, as if he wasn't expecting a barrage of questions to come. ''So, where would you like to go now?''

Sanae whipped around at Lacota and growled. "Why are you acting so funny today, Lacota?" She demanded, not bothering to check if anyone was looking. "You're not right today, and I know Lacota. He wouldn't act weird because of some lame sickness..." Sanae's hands wrung wildly in the air, then she sighed, almost defeated. "It's just not you." She concluded, crossing her arms and waiting for an explanation. |
