Naric perked his ears as Miramo began speaking of the library's origns. The further Miramo got into the story the more the black neko found himself hanging on to the white one's words. So this whole thing was started by a traveler, Mirmamo's ancestor's goal was to document tales from others and share them with everyone. That was extremly thoughtful and he couldn't help but admire him for his travels and work. Without him, there would be no books and knowledge from all over.

His tail was actually curled up but dropped slighlty when Miramo spoke of his grandfather. The one person who broke that running streak of going out and collecting world stories and tales to share to others. It only started...two generations ago? His ears drooped foward slightly when he spoke of the slave trade and his grandfather being popular and rich for buying and selling slaves. He found his own ex
pression changed as he averted his gaze to the book in his hand. Why couldn't Miramo's ancestors stick with their past? If they had done that he wouldn't be here right now. He'd be...right back in that cage. Okay so that wasn't a very good place to be either, but at least here he was treated like a human being. Well for the time being he was.

Naric had noticed Miramo's facial expressions as he talked about his ancestors and the making of the Library. He was impressed yes but felt bad for him because he hadn't followed in their footsteps but was forced to follow his fathers who was a slave trader. His ears perked as soon as the white neko and asked him the question, snapping him out of any previous thoughts. His ex
pression lightened a little as he focused on Miramo. "Actually, it was more than I expected. It wasn't started from a book worm that just collected random books he bought but...it had a purpose that everyone loved" Naric tilting his head a little before averting his gaze to the book in his hands.

"Couldn't you have taken in your ancestor's footsteps? Travelled too? Opened this place back up for the public?" He asked a slight frown falling upon his face. "Or do you not share the same love? For your ancestor it was traveling and the love of the tales. Your grandfather seemed to love money which is what drove him to that path but what is your path, Miramo? Your grandfather has proven that you can easily change your ways no matter what your history" He spoke although feeling extremly out of place. Was it even in his place to speak out like that? To tell him what he could do?

His green gaze softened slightly as he focused back up on the white neko. "What do you see yourself doing? What do you dream of as your job?" he asked curiously his tail uncurling from behind him. He really wanted to know but then again he was terrfied he would say what his father had done. Which would be a slave trader and a breaker only to raise money for himself but to him, the white neko didn't seem that way. He felt as though he had alternative goals and dreams. Ones that he was scared to persue. 'Even you are scared to follow your own dreams' Naric thought to himself, his ears lowering to his skull.

Oh how he loathed himself right now for even bringing up paths and destiny with Miramo. This was something that was always weird to answer and bring up in any convesation. No one thought the same or had the same goal. Somehow each goal would be crushed and you would be stuck to watch your dreams wash away just like his own the day his father sold hiim to the market.

{I feel like I just failed on that post. >.< }

Miramo shifted slightly from one foot to the other, a more genuine smile forming on his face. Naric had asked a difficult question. Not because it was hard to answer, but because it dug deep. Still, somehow speaking with the black neko just seemed right. These personal questions seemed to be as easy to answer as idle chit-chat.

"I'd love that. Traveling, I mean." the white neko answered softly, no longer looking at Naric but at the shelves of books. "I've always loved the stars and they are the only thing that dominate my p*censored*ion for this library. It wouldn't be hard to imagine traveling and sleeping under the stars each night. It was something I dreamed about. But sadly, it's not something I could do. I do not have my ancestor's great knowledge of languages, nor do I have the ability to keep myself alive. My father and his slaves sheltered me. I know nothing of how to live outside these walls. This is the only thing I know and it would be too hard for me to break ties with it."

Miramo swallowed. A lump was forming in his throat from speaking of his father. He was getting closer and closer to a very sensitive topic but he could not bring himself to stop talking. "If... my father was still alive... I probably would have had the money to go off to college and study the astronomy. Even if I couldn't travel, the stars themselves tell their own tales. I could have written about that. I could have made my own additions to this library... and if I had a child, I could have somehow taught him the skills and given him the p*censored*ion to travel."

He looked back at Naric, tears stinging his eyes. His tail wrapped around his own leg as his ears drooped. "But that can't really happen now. Both my father and my mother are dead. That blackened part of the mansion? Lightning stuck there three years ago and they were caught in the blaze... they..." He made a small choking sound and ducked his head, trying to rub at his eyes with his good hand. Even after three years, he couldn't hold back the tears. The memory of being rushed outside into the cold rain by one of the slaves, watching the mansion go up in flames... realizing his parents weren't with him and it was their room that was burning... the memory was worse than the most horrifying nightmare.

Miramo's ears flattened against his skull and he turned to leave. He didn't want Naric seeing him like this...

((You didn't fail. D: ))

Naric made small circles on the book in his hand as he listened to Miramo speak of his dream. The stars...that was pretty high thinking. So astronomy was his pas$ion, learning about the stars and what may possibly lay beyond them. That was...amazing. He could honestly say he had never heard that one before. Although Naric's soft smile didn't last long. As soon as Miramo admitted he could not follow his dreams; the black neko sighed.

"Couldn't you read up on the languages? I mean your ancestors had to do some work to live out their pas$ions" He spoke although seemed to want to take his words back. Miramo's words of what he could have done if his father and mother were still alive. They had died and for some reason that truly pained Miramo. Sure he under stood why, they obviously had a close relationship. He watched as the white neko choked on his words and went to turn away, but Naric lept forward grabbing his arm. "Wait..." he called, his own voice just barely above a whisper.

"Miramo...don't run" he frowned pulling his ears flat against his skull. He used his free hand to set the fairy tale book down on the table before walking forward and actually wrapping his arms around the white neko, hugging him. "Please..." he spoke softly not really knowing what to say. Naric had no clue how to comfort the white neko on something that he, himself, didn't understand. If his father died he wouldn't feel sad or even cry for him. His mother, maybe, but his father. There was no way he would be sad for that man to be gone although he would never know if they did pas$ or not.

Just then reality seemed to hit him as his green gaze softened on Miramo who was...in his arms. Oh yeah he had hugged him or was hugging him. He pulled away and subconciously reached up and wiped the tears away from Miramo's cheeks. He still didn't know what to say but wanted him to know that he was here for him if the white neko needed him.

So that's what happened to the house. Lightning struck and yet it was his mother and father's room that suffered along with his parents lives. 'It must suck having to stare at it all the time, but why not fix it?' he asked himself within the safety of his own mind but simply pushed the random question away not wanting to push anything. This obviously upset the other neko and since it did that he didn't want to get into any more details than he was willing to share.

Miramo let out a soft yelp when his arm was grabbed, his tail bristling and his heart rate speeding up from surprise. He looking back at Naric with an almost fearful ex
pression until the black neko spoke, causing him to freeze. Even when he felt Naric's arms wrap around him, he didn't try to pull away, even so much as relaxing a little. Absentmindedly, he curled his fingers in the black neko's shirt and rested his head on his shoulder, tears silently screaming down his cheeks. His whole body was quivering slightly, but even so there was something... safe about being in Naric's arms, even more so when the black neko had willingly hugged him.

His ears flicked forward curiously when he felt the other neko pull away, but they quickly relaxed again when he felt Naric wiping away his tears. The white neko couldn't help but smile, even if it must have looked a bit sad at this point. Naric was being nice to him, even going so far to willingly touch him despite all that had happened.

"Thank you..." Miramo whispered. His voice was a bit stiff from crying, but it still sounded as soft as ever. Randomly, he noticed that he still was clinging onto Naric's shirt and let go quickly, sliding his hands into his pockets for lack of anything to do with them. His tail also curled around his waist rather protectively. The white neko was rather unsure in a situation like this. He desperately wanted the closeness back with him, but he was afraid that if he made any sort of move, he'd scare the black neko away. So instead, he just stood there awkwardly and unsure of himself.

((I feel like this post is a bit of a fail. >< Ah well, I just woke up. P:))

((Edit; Oh, and I found this song the other day and thought it fit rather well with Naric and Miramo. :D Even the softer kind of sound to it seemed to fit. <3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mERsOBIg7tg Random AMV lol... ^_^; Its the song that matters.))

{ Awww. <3 That's cute and it does fit. And I had an idea with this post but seeing it's still day light outside in our Rp and the fact that I'm sort of....stupid when it comes to experamenting and engeneering I fail but don't laugh cause I didn't know how to play out this post. It was cute in my head but not sure that it will be because of how lame I chose to write my words }

Naric's ears drooped slightly watching Miramo for a few moments trying to think of what he could do to make the white neko feel better. People crying was not his favorite thing in the whole wide word in fact he hated it. He hated it just as much as letting himself cry. To him it showed weakness but he couldn't see it that way from Miramo's point. He had lost someone he cared about and that wasn't weakness. That was loss and loss was hard to deal with.

His ear twitched slightly hearing the white neko's softly spoken thank you causing his ears to fall even more. "Don't thank me..." he said quietly before an idea came to him. His ears and tail shot up as his eyes widened. He dashed forward quickly grabbing Miramo's good wrist and actually pulling the white neko along with him. "Come..." his voice sort of demanding but yet soft to the point he really didn't mean to boss him around. The black neko pulled the white one threw the house until he found the room that the white one had giving him. His own bedroom. He dropped the other's wrist and actually closed the curtain causing the room to be dark.

It took Naric a minute of thought before he ran past the white neko, out the door, once more to gather a few things. It wasn't moments that he returned with a large bowl with a kitchen strainer ontop of it with something clinking around inside it as he moved. A smirk came acrossed his lips as he set the strainer down emptying the bowl out into it. About five small tea lit candles fell out along with a lighter he had found. Naric clutched onto the bowl as he ran into the bathroom. The sink turned on and Naric began filling the bowl with water. While that was filling up he exited the bathroom quickly and shut the bedroom door thus creating it a little bit darker in the room.

He went back into the bathroom and came out carrying the bowl full of water and set it down at the foot of the bed. He sat on the floor for a breif moment grabbing the strainer and candles before lighting the candles one by one and setting them in the water watching them float on the surface. A grin spread acrossed his face as he set the round strainer ontop of the bowl and glanced up at the ceiling watching small white dots apear on the roof then disapear as the candles moved around under the strainer.

His right ear twitched as he jumped to his feet and walked behind Miramo pushing him towards the bed. "Relax and calm yourself" he told the white neko. His tail flopped behind him calmly as he glanced back up at the small white dots apearing and disapearing on the roof. "I couldn't give you the stars outside but....I can make artificial ones. You like the stars so much so...I brought them to you, to make you feel better" he spoke his eas falling slightly as he focused on the white neko not sure how he would take it. He wasn't trying to upset him or anything but just simply trying to make him feel better. "Since the stars are your pas$ion...I brought them to you" he spoke again his gaze darting up at the ceiling once more watching the lights.

He had learned this little trick in his house when the sky was to dark at night to see any stars or he got yelled at for going outside to look at them. If he couldn't have the real ones he would just make fake ones.

{ Sorry to bother you...or well, I was bored and came up with an idea to sort of move this Roleplay in a positive direction (not saying it's not moving in a wonderful direction)...but. Miramo hates 'breaking' and buying slaves right? He has no desire to follow in his father's footsteps not to mention he's falling for our fisty black neko who really needs more kick to him if you ask me. >.<

Anyway. What if Naric proposed a deal. He by know sees how much Miramo hates it. What if they made a plan to play charades, Naric following every single command given by Miramo acting like a slave to him even though he knows Miramo hates the very thought of it and as does he. If Naric comes up with an idea to buy slaves and sell them back to a free organization that buys and sets slaves free...Miramo and Naric could keep their home instead of loosing money and well loosing their home. The key to this roleplay is 'the more slaves you own the more money you make' and seeing the white neko hates that rule and plus he is falling for our black furry friend here...that means he would loose his home. Everything without really goin out and getting a job. Am I making any sense? O.o

Hmmm. Well. I think that's the jist of it. They trick the merchants into thinking Miramo is this great slave breaker when really he is selling the slaves he does buy to an organization who actually releases them and sets them free to live their own lives.

Therefore maybe later in the rp to bring more...drama someone can find out their scheme and come after them forcing the two to run and hide or be tore apart and seperate for a short period of time. (So many ideas can sprout off of this. I have like four in my head already. ^.^ ).

Soo. What do you think? Be honest. If you don't like it....please don't shoot me. I've been lonely lately and got bored and this roleplay popped into my mind. I do love it because it's the best one i've ever had on this site. ^.^ So much detail and it's also really fun with the long challenging posts. <3 }

((*Totally isn't necroposting* ... If I have to say that I'm in trouble. ><;;;))

Miramo yelped again when he was grabbed, his tail bristling up like a squirrel's. His first instinct was to pull away, but something in Naric's voice made him freeze and go along with him. At first he had no idea where the black neko was taking him, but when he was pulled into the room, his heart lept into his throat and he paled considerably. Why in the world was Naric bringing him back here? Memories of the previous night flooded back to him, so strongly that he barely even noticed Naric's bustling about. The white neko's tail curled around his leg again and his ear's flattened as much as they could against his skull. He almost dug his fingernails into his palms again but the subconscious memory of Naric scolding him kept him from reopening the wounds.

He was almost on the verge of tears again before Naric lit the match, causing him to jump away in surprise, staring at the flame in trembling shock. He was afraid of it, of course. Three years ago it had claimed his parents lives and left a mark on the house that would never be erased in his life time. It was only natural that he still hold onto that fear of that night.

However, he didn't have much more time to react before Naric pushed him towards the bed, raising his panic slightly. His mind couldn't really process what was going on at the moment, and he certainly wasn't taking in everything that was going on. But as the black neko spoke, and he sat down on the bed, Miramo began to focus more on what was outside his mind, noticing the "stars" on the ceiling. A soft gasp escaped his lips as he stared up at them, his body relaxing as his mind simply focused on the moving patches of light.

After a few moments, Miramo finally spoke. "Thank you," he said again. Then, he risked gently taking Naric's hand and pulling him onto the bed so they were sitting side by side, the white neko daring to rest his head on the black one's shoulder. His heartrate was still a tad fast from the shock of the fire, but he was trying to ignore it. He also felt a bit tired again, but not enough to actually go to sleep. He just wanted to feel the other neko's warmth.

((I think I already replied to your idea somewhere, but I really like it. ^^ I already have a rather interesting (well, not really interesting but still torturous for them both xD) way that Miramo can prove Naric is totally "broken."

I promise (And this time I mean it xD) to be more active in this roleplay. <3 I really do love it.))

( Psh. We are fine. lol. )

Naric's ears perked forward as he was pulled onto the bed next to Miramo. His tail swayed gently behind him as he let out a soft sigh. "I'm sorry for startling you" he spoke softly bringing his own tail around his own waist. He had noticed the white neko flinch away when he had lit the match. Was he still scared of fire because of the fire a while back? That's a stupid question. Of course he is! Naric thought, mentally slapping himself. You don't just forget a fire that stole the lives of your parents.

"Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to your home. It's a steady bowl and won't tip over, not even a rat can move it" He insured laying his own head on Miramo's that was resting on his shoulder. He didn't want the white neko to worry about his house burning down again. As long as he was here shuffling about he'd do everything in his power to prevent any accidents of that degree.

Naric let his body relax a little bit as he watched the moving lights on the ceiling. His mind ventured back to those days he sat in his room for hours stairing up at the ceiling. He always was grounded or cast off so he'd light the candles and watch the virtual stars to just get away. They helped him forget the things that caused him pain. Right now he could mentally picture his old room, the one shelf of books he had saved from his father's fire burning rampage, the warm purple blanket his mother had given to him.

Almost immediatly Naric's perked black ears drooped forward. He hated to admit it but he missed that house and his room. He doubted heh'd ever see it again. The slave trader he was sold to put him on a ship almost immediatly so he had no idea where exactly that little farm house rested. A small sigh escaped him as his eyes focused on the covers of the bed. The stars were bringing back to many old memories in which he didn't want at the moment.

({ Oooh! I wanna know. Hehe. I want to know your torturous idea. ^.^ And alright. I like this roleplay too.  It's fun. )}

Miramo nodded slightly, flicking his ears to show he'd heard Naric. Steadily, he felt himself becoming much calmer and wrapped his arms around Naric's like a child. Despite the rocky start they'd gotten off to, he was glad the black neko didn't seem to resent him in any way, going so far as to be kind to him. The white neko had to admit he was rather... difficult to deal with sometimes. It came from barely having any real interaction with others for the past three years. Everyone else had always been so fake but Naric seemed honest. It made it easy for Miramo to trust the black neko. Maybe Naric would totally get over being a slave soon and they could really be friends and see each other as equals, no matter what was "official" or not.

At some point during his muses, Miramo must have fallen asleep. His body took on a bit more of a dead-weight feel and he hugged on tighter to Naric's arm, his tail moving to wrap around his waist like it often did. The white neko was like that for a few minutes before Naric's sigh broke the total silence. Only barely asleep, the sound woke Miramo with a slight start, his body tensing for a moment and his eyes opening back up to barely be slits before he lifted his head to look at the black neko, worry showing in his already awake eyes.

Naric looked... sad, Miramo noted with a frown, his tail instinctively moving to curl around them both. For a few moments, the white neko wondered if he should say anything. Naric seemed the type to want to hide his emotions from others... but maybe that was because he'd never had anyone to really talk to. Finally making his decision, Miramo took a breath to clear his mind before speaking. "Are you okay?" he asked gently, flicking his ears forward as his amber gaze rested on the other neko.

((Blah, that was a fail. x.x
And I'm gonna make you wait for the torturous idea. :P
Hmm... should Naric bring up his plan now? :3 Just to knock Miramo off his "let's be equals" horse. xD))

( lol. They'd never really be equals. lol. But okay. ^.^ Poor Miramo. Just when things get calm Naric somehow upsets things. <3   Poor Miramo. )

Naric's ears perked forward at the sound of Miramo's voice, which seemed to break threw all his previous thoughts. He turned his head a little bit noticing the white neko stairing at him as he had asked if he was okay. Naric's ears pulled back and his gaze shifted to the bed. "Ummm....sorta kinda" He admitted his tail culring behind him. Should he bring up reality now? Or should he wait? The black neko's canine teeth bit into his lip as he thought knowing if he did bring up real life it would ruin this nice little moment. He enjoyed the feeling of Miramo clung to him. It made him comfotable to know he wasn't going to get hit or yelled at any time soon.

"Miramo...." Naric spoke, hesitation clearly showing in his now shaky voice. "Your going to end up loosing your house. You don't like to break slaves....I can tell. Your hesitant and practically scared to do so. If you don't follow in your father's footsteps you'll loose everything. You'll be forced out of your home and i'll be sent back to the market. It's the rule around here that the more slaves you have and sell the more money you get from breaking them" he sighed his black ears pinning tightly against his skull. He offcially had just ruined a perfect moment.

"You need to break more, buy more. You and I both know that. I will simply not do for the government" He let out a small huff his tail un curling before he wrapped it around himself a little scared to continue. "I know you'll be uncomfortable with it, but...there is something I heard the other slaves talking about. There's this orginazation somewhere that buys slaves from their masters. Once the orginization has them they set the slaves free far from where they bought them. They are free...." he smiled lightly just by teh thought of it. Did he want to be free? Yes and no, but technically he already was. Miramo wasn't the person to beat anouther senseless for messing up a little detail.

"You could buy slaves from the market, keep them for a few days then sell them off to the orginization if you feel really uncomfortable. That way you can keep your home and live peacefully. You just need one slave to proove your a good breaker. One extremly obedient slave....." his voice trailed off as he lifted his gaze to Miramo. "Me..." He added his ears perking forward just a little bit. "They all know me at the market. I was the one who sorta tormented them. Imagine if you brought me back, broken spirited. Imagine your reputation. They'd ask no questions only how you did it." Naric couldn't look at the white neko any more. He even managed to shrug away from his grip as he brought up his knees and hugged them.

"We can't have your house being taken and you being kicked out. Sure it's a little selfish on my part for not wanting to go back, but....I can't have you thrown out. Your nice and sweet to me and I  know you'd be that way for others too. You could help them and keep your house. I'd gladly make the sacrafice for you. Do anything you ask, bare your hand if need be. I just don't want you to loose this place that's all. It's special to you and the government can't see that" Naric finished his little speech, idea, explination. He rested his chin on his knees a little woried on how the white neko would react. He mentally prepared to get yelled at. Anything was possible in this situation.

Miramo's ears flattened when he heard Naric begin to speak. Just the way his name was said was all he needed to know things were gonna take a dip downhill. However, he hadn't even expected what Naric was saying and he found himself sitting there with his eyes wide and his jaws slightly agape. His tail fluffed up and his face was ghost pale. At some point during the black neko's speech, he just seemed to lose some signs of life. His tail seemed flat and dead beside him, his ears were no longer flattened in a defensive way, only drooping with sadness, and his amber eyes lost all signs of even the slightest luster, becoming totally dull.

He felt almost betrayed. Of course Naric was right, even a fool would see that, but it didn't mean he had to like it. After the black neko finished, Miramo continued to sit in silence, staring at his hands that had begun shaking at some point like the rest of his body as he thought of what he could do. After a while, he abruptly stood up, although his body language suggested he didn't quite know what to do with himself. He was confused and upset, and it showed quite clearly on his face. Finally, he strode over to a wall and hit his fist against it. However it wasn't violent, like the first time. It was more like a defeated man throwing his last weak punch in vain to try to win a hopeless fight. Naric was right, and Miramo had no way of getting around it, no matter how hard he tried. It simply wouldn't work.

However, the white neko still didn't want to accept it. His forehead fell against the wall and hes stood there against it, his shoulders bunched as he continued to tremble. He hated the though of having the black neko under his control. It made him sick to imagine such a great person like Naric to be reduced to a broken spirit. It wasn't right, and he couldn't help but despise his slave-trade bloodline. He'd always pictured his father as a great, kind man, even to his slaves, but perhaps Ronok hadn't been as caring as he though. It made Miramo's heart sick to even pretend to break one slave, yet his father had truly broken hundreds.

Miramo turned around, his back pressed against the wall, and slid to the ground, staring up the fake stars for a moment. "I guess I don't have much of a choice, do I?" he said softly with a sigh, seeming exhausted. The entire time he hadn't looked at Naric. He couldn't. After a few more moments he just sat there until he finally managed to speak again.

"We'll leave in the morning. It's best if we get this over early and I have my father's blood so they shouldn't become too suspicious of the speed of it all." He swallowed, trying to keep himself from throwing up. "If you need dinner or anything you know where to find it. I'm just going to turn in." With a sigh, he pushed himself up and exited the room, still unable to look at Naric. When he reached his room he just collapsed onto the bed. Despite it only being mid-afternoon he felt horribly tired and collapsed onto his bed instantly, barely pulling the covers over himself before he fell asleep. He just wanted to block everything out at that time.

((I can't tell if this is a fail or not. >.< That's what I get for trying to write at 8 in the morning without sleep. x.x))

{ That wasn't a fail. Your doing better than I am. >.<' }

Naric took real quick notice to the silence. It was sort of eerie and well, terrifying for him. Silence was never a good thing in the back of Naric's mind. He tore his eyes from the bed sheets and watched Miramo out of both curiosity and fear. Why wouldn't he talk to him? Explain what he was feeling? Had he really upset the white neko to that degree or had he completly misunderstood their bond? The black neko sighed and flinched lightly when he saw and heard Miramo's fist contact the wall. It wasn't like earlier when he had done it and he was thankful for that. The white neko wasn't mad or not to the degree he was earlier.

Naric's ears drooped foward when Miramo finially spoke up. He listened to every word and flinched at the end of what the white neko said. He was turning in for day despite it clearly being mid-afternoon. The black neko actually stayed where he was not wanting to move or be a bother to Miramo anymore. He had already upset him when they were clearly having a nice moment of relaxing. Why did he always have to mess the good things up? It wasn't the first time Naric had ruined a few good moments.

A sigh escaped the black neko as he forced himself to get off the bed. He drug his feet over to the bowl of water and bent down turning the candles upside down in the water to extenquish them. There was no use for the fake stars anymore. He had done the opposite of what he wanted. His fingers gently wrapped around the edge of the bowl as he carried it into the bathroom and put it in the bathub, way to lazy to dump it out in the sink.

He made his way out of the bathroom and climbed back into the bed. He wasn't tired but he sure didn't want to wander around he house. Yes the sound of growling came from his stomach but he refused to move from the bed. Miramo had told him if he needed anything he could go and get it but he refused. He needed to get his body and mind in the frame of being a slave if things were going to work. No he didn't plan on starving himself but he knew that he could last which is teh reason he was turning down his body's nutrients. He'd lasted for months so why not one more day? Or even a week?

Naric let out a huff as he grabbed a pillow from near the head board and seemed to curl his body around it, clinging to the soft ob
ject. He burried his face into the end of it and just clung trying to, for say, reprogram his mind into the very last thing he wanted; to be a slave. They needed this to work and look as real as possible. If he screwed up, or Miramo....things could go downhill. He didn't want to cost the white neko his home when he's lived here all his life. That would be awful and Naric would never forgive himself for that.

The black neko's body seemed to relax as he let his ears droop forward out of both exaustion and sadness. He needed to sleep to better prepare himself for tomorrow. He was going to face what he had been in for months previously only after being free for just a few days. As his thoughts strayed to the past, it didn't take long for Naric to fall asleep.

( I just remembered Naric still has that bruise, love bite type mark on his neck. lol. Plus your welcome to skip to the next day. ^.^ Not much to do with sleeping Nekos. }

((When's Immortal's birthday? O: ))

Miramo didn't have a very plesant sleep. It was troubled and dark but when he woke he couldn't quite remember what it was about. He forced himself into a sitting position and groaned when he realized his muscles had tightened during the night. He growled slightly and did a cat stretch to loosen them before laying back down on his stomach, his cheek against his pillow as he stared at the door. What was he getting into?

He layed there for what seemed like hours, but when he finally pushed himself up again, it was only eight in the morning. He sighed and got up, stretching his hands above his head and going into his bathroom, turning on the shower and stripping as he waited for the water to heat up. Once it was at a decent temperature, he stepped under the stream. He'd have liked to have enjoyed the warm water pounding on his shoulders, but instead he washed quickly then dried himself off.

When he returned to his room, he shivered from the temperature change and went over to his dresser, picking out a pair of boxers, socks, white jeans, and a black t-shirt, pulling them on. It was what he usually wore when he went anywhere out of the mansion. His mother had always said he looked good in the full white that matched his snowy fur, but he had always worn black over his chest to make his gold necklace stand out. He lifted the flat sheild style part of the necklace up slightly, running his thumb over it and staring at it thoughtfully.

"What would you think of me now, dad?" he wondered out loud, staring at the gold for a few more moments before letting it drop down to his chest again and grabbing his white jacket from where it hung. He slid it on smoothly and inspected himself in the mirror. He looked a bit worn down, but a serious face still came easily to him. One of the things his father had taught him was how to lie and cover it from every aspect, including expressions and other body language. The only one he'd never tricked was his old man.

Miramo shook his head to clear his mind and inspected himself one last time before pulling on his shoes and leaving the room. Before he went to wake up Naric, he ducked down another hallway and opened a door.

Inside looked a bit like a play room for a child, but there were boxes in it that made it seem like it had been used for storage for quite some time. He rummaged around in a few of the boxes before he found what he was looking for. His tail twitched in amusement as he looked down at the bottle, returning to the memories it had created. He used to love freaking out everyone with fake blood, now he'd be using it for a more serious purpose.

He shook it once before leaving the room going downstairs to the kitchen, where he kept some medical supplies. He picked out some gauze and medical tape then finally returned to the hallway that his room shared with Naric's and knocked on the black neko's door.

"Naric?" he called out. "You up yet?"

((Hopefully this isn't too long. o_o; ))

( My birthday is July 21st. Why? O.o )

Naric had been up for a while, but he wasn't moving on the bed. He was curled around a pillow with his tail wound tightly around his own waste. Memories had flooded him all through out the night. Faces haunted his mind of the slaves that had come and gone within the past months he was locked in a cage. He watched his so called 'friend's's come and go in different conditions to different people. Nothing was ever what it seemed in slavory.

His ears perked up when he heard shuffling around outside of his door. He just simply pushed himself up into a sitting position and stayed that way watching the door. It seemed like forever so he pushed himself up, crawling off the bed. His tail flicked behind him as he got to his feet walking into the bathroom.

For a moment he stripped his shirt off and staired at his reflection in the mirror.  He turned his neck slighlty so that his eyes fell upon the faded bruise upon his neck causing the black neko to let out a small sigh. This here were just so confusing. One moment Miramo was happy the next he was either angry by something Naric said or just...confusing. Did he ever have a steady emotion? He left in a huff last night because he brought reality to the picture here.

Naric figured Miramo wanted a friend. A friend is not what Naric was, or he didn't see himself as one. The white neko was nice, yes, but Naric was bought. Technically he was the other neko's pet. THe black neko growled slightly placing his hands on the sink and just staired down at the white porcline. Why did things have to be so complicated? "It's me" He spoke softly looking back at his reflection. "I'm making this difficult" He huffed pulling his ears against his skull.

Just then he heard the small knock on his door causing him to straighten up and stair out of the bathroom for a moment. "Yeah....Come in" The black neko called stepping to the bathroom door and leaning his bare shoulder against it, his purple shirt in his hand as he stared at the door waitin for the familar figure of the white neko to enter his room.

( Sorry that fails horribly )

( The other site didn't last sadly. An argument happened then a break up and then...end of site. >.<' *sigh* So, i've come back to Res. I know you've been gone and I hope you wont be to mad at me. If you don't want to continue this Rp, please tell me. Its been two months. A little over that. )

Loki's Post:

Miramo opened the door to Naric's room as soon as he had permission to do so. For a moment he though he could have just opened the door anyways, but he pushed the thought aside. Master or not, he could still be polite and respect Naric's privacy.

He closed the door behind him and let out a soft sigh to calm himself. He looked Naric over once, his ears flattening slightly when he saw Naric's bare chest and the mark he'd left on the black neko.

"Today you're going to have to act like the perfect slave... and you're also going to have to look the part." he said simply, trying to make his voice as indifferent as possible. It worked at least to his ears. Not even his tail, which stayed limp behind him, gave off any sign of how nervous her really was.

He set the bandages and other medical supplies along with the bottle of fake blood onto the dresser before pulling open on of the drawers and rummaging around in it until his fingers slid over a small switch, his ears pricking forward at the small click of a secret comparment opening, from which he retrived what he'd been looking for.

He moved over to stand in front of Naric, holding out what he'd gotten. It was a pure white collar with emerald-looking stones fixed to the front in the shape of a clover.

"You have to wear this. It's a sign that you're my slave," the white neko explained, carefully putting it around the black neko's neck. He made sure it was tight enough that it couldn't be caught or grabbed but not so tight that it'd cause discomfort for the other male. When he was satisfied with the collar, he took a step back to inspect it fully and couldn't help but blush a little from the sight. There was something about Naric being shirtless with his collar on that Miramo found attractive. Even the bruise on the black neko's neck added to the effect... Realizing where his thoughts were going, he quickly focused his mind back on the task at hand.

"Well also need to make you look a bit bangged up," he said hastily, moving back to the dresser and picking up the bandages and fake blood. "I want this to look as convincing as possible and judging from what I heard about you, you wouldn't have been so willing to comply to my demands as your master."

My post:

Naric watched Miramo enter his room with the stuff in hand. His ears perked forward a little curious on what exactly all of that stuff was for. Bandages, a bottle of red stuff, and a few other medical supplies. What in the world was he planning?

Then Miramo spoke. So he was going to play the part of the slave today. Why did he have to play the part when he really was one? A sigh escaped him as he simply nodded to the white neko’s words. That would be simple enough. Prance and parade around like something inside him was lost. Following ever whim of Miramo, every move. Flinch here and there whenever the other male made quick movements. That wouldn’t be hard at all. He’s seen it so many times with the other slaves.

Naric’s green gaze watched Miramo move to the dresser hearing the small ‘click’. When had that gotten here? Was it always there? Although, then again he didn’t go hunting the room for hidden compartments. He didn’t even know they existed. Weren’t those just treasure hunter’s tales of secret places and compartments in a house?

His head tilted to the side a little bit when Miramo brought fourth the collar and held it out for him to see. It was very pretty in his eyes. Better than the black worn leather he’d seen on the other slaves. Most tight and cutting into their neck so he wasn’t sure he wanted a collar but thus had no choice. Masters gripped their neko’s slaves collars all the time as a means of control. He couldn’t help himself but wonder if Miramo was going to do the same sometime while parading around town.

The black neko’s eyes shut as the white neko came forward placing the collar around his neck. He felt his fingers move around to fix the collar firmly onto his neck. He was a little surprised, causing his ears to perk forward a little, that even though he was doing all this he was still gentle. He kept his eyes closed until the presence of Miramo was no longer felt near him. He opened his eyes slowly focusing on the white neko. He explained what exactly he needed to do because of his reputation around the trades. So they were going back there. That should be fun. There went his pride.

“I wouldn’t comply to anyone’s demands as my master. I did quite a bit of damage back there before I was even put in a cage” He spoke as a matter of fact kind of way. He just sighed, moving off of the door way so that Miramo had better access to him. Maybe it was a good thing he wasn’t wearing a shirt. “Do you have rags or torn clothes to add to my…slaveness?” He asked. He was pretty sure that ‘slaveness’ wasn’t a word but he wasn’t really focused on what was and was not at the moment. “I can act as broken as you want me” He shrugged wondering just how far he wanted him to go. “Do you want complete ruins or still a little bit of fight left?” He asked not sure what he was allowed to do and what he wasn’t.

Miramo shook his head at Naric's question, pausing for a moment before speaking. In only a short while, he'd thought more about this father than he'd dared to in a long time. The memories were always rather painful. He'd have to go back and remember his father's face, his father's actions. He was just mirroring his father.

"My father dressed his slaves nicely," he finally replied. "He said that the quality of the slave not only included how they worked or how they were broken, but also their appearance. He said a slave that is attractive and clean will appeal to a wider audience than a slave that only has the broken aspect."

He went back to rummage through the drawers, pulling out clothing for Naric. A black jacket, black pants, and a purple shirt, special for Naric. When going out, his father had always dressed his slaves in dark clothes. It contrasted the traditional white and green of their family crest and collar, making it stand out more.

"But before you dress, we're going to add to the effect a little with this." The white neko picked up the bottle of fake blood to hold it up for Naric to see. An actual rather childish smile formed on his face, his tail twitching in an excited fashion. Just holding the bottle that he'd used in so many pranks as a child seemed to bring that energy and playfulness back to him. Now, he'd be able to use it for a better cause than causing panic among his father's slaves. He'd be able to use to make Naric appear injured without actually injuring him.

"Sit down," Miramo told the black neko. His voice seemed normal. It wasn't a command, just a request, and his tone made that obvious. "Once we get you bandaged up, I'll leave you to get dressed." He gathered up the rest of what he needed and moved over to the bed.

((Uh, hopefully this is good. <3; I'm sorry to have made you wait so long.))

Naric listened to every word Miramo spoke. He listened about Miramo's father and his expectations of what a slave would look like and act. It was smart. The better looking a slave the more attractive they would be to other buyers. He couldn't help but pull his ears back watching Miramo move.

So he was going to look nice and play the part of a very obedient slave. That wouldn't be too bad, though it would kill his reputation. Maybe that was okay. He wouldn't ever go back there or that's what Miramo said. He'd never sell him. In the time he had he eyed the clothes Miramo held. A black jacket, black pants, and a purple shirt. Seeing that shirt made a smile appear on Naric's lips. Some how, without having to tell him, Miramo knew it was his favorite color, or did he tell him? Naric rapidly searched his mind for any time that he could have told him. He might have and just not remembered it.

His smile seemed to last a little bit longer as he seen Miramo's eyes light up just by holding up the fake blood. There must have been memories behind it because his tail was twitching and eyes bright. He doubted that Miramo would have that much fun making him look all banged up. It would only be for a few hours hopefully then he could come back and get in the shower. He knew he was going to hate going back only to act broken but that's what he had to do. He'd try his best to ignore the comments and jaws that would hit the floor when Miramo lead him through the line of cages and guards who knew him. Though maybe it wouldn't be a problem.

His ears swivled to hear his words before he actually complied and moved over to the bed and sat down. He'd do this for Miramo. His reputation was on the line and so was his house. The very house that he loved. If Naric could he wouldn't let that happen. He just wouldn't. He'd do everything in his power including being broken and doing everything Miramo said.

"What exactly are you planning to do today at the slave market?" He asked focusing on him. He wanted to know what he was in for, how exactly Miramo would act so he could do what he was supposed to do.
