Christmas 2012 Art Contest


It is time once again for our Christmas Art Contest.  We cant wait to see what you guys come up with this time!

Our artists have made another awesome piece of line art.


Ends: December 30th at 11:59 pm


The OFFICIAL LINE ART can be found here.

[  Contest Rules  ]

1] All entries MUST use the provided line art.
 However, you may color, edit, redraw, paint over and otherwise edit the
 lines as you see fit, so long as you start with the original image
provided.

2] The Rescreatu logo must remain visible and intact in all entries.

3] Participants may only submit one entry. 

4] Participants are to submit their entry here before December 30th @ 11:59 PM.

5] Images submitted must be no larger than 800x800 pixels.

6] After entries are submitted they will be checked by staff that all rules are followed before they are moved to judging.
All submissions are property of Rescreatu.


Rules may be added or changed as seen fit by Rescreatu staff.

Entries will be judged by users based on the following criteria.

- Best Over All
- Quality
- Color Usage
- Creativity

Hi! I'm wondering how do you color it in using an art program? Because, when I opened the file in Photoshop, you would need 1 la.yer under the lineart to color, and the lineart in another la.yer above that, so you could color it. Is that confusing?

yeah, im using paint tool sai, and because its in a jpeg format, you cant exactly colour it neatly :/
could you possibly make it into a png? :D

Note: I had to crop and size the picture down, since the lineart pic is bigger that 800px. I didn't crop the res logo though. c:

uhm i made sure that my entry had all the right requirements and i know that it has to be checked by staff but its getting close to the closing date, so I thought id check if there was anything wrong with mine? 
like if i out it at the wrong size by accident  
id really love to enter xD

I know, I was just about to ask how long it takes for the submitted entry to get posted on the contest page, since mine hasn't showed yet. Thought something went wrong and that I'd have to re-sumbit or I didn't meet requirements, but I'm not the only one xD;
