Like, even if it was something in which we had to buy from the cs shop, say a coin that lets you change your username. I know a lot of people who don't like their usernames, me being one of them. '3' So.
Discuss/support.

I think this sounds pretty good, considering new users can now apparently put spaces in their usernames when you totally couldn't do that before V3.

Users with spaces and special characters in their name will have to change their username to something without special characters or spaces once that glitch has been fixed by the coders.

I'm sure it has, username, but I haven't seen a thread for it in a while, and now that v3 is out, the suggestion might be more-so powerful.

Also, another thought. You should be limited on how many times you change your username.Like how you many times you can switch from Merchant to Rancher 4 times freely, there should be a Username Token in the CS.
But I think it should be always free if someone wants to capitalize a few letters.

I support. I actually think if anything you should only be able to do this one time and it should be like 500 credits or something. I am certain users would abuse this if it was cheap.

I do and don't support this. I think it would be nice, but some people would deffinatly take advantage of it. For EXAMPLE (this would NEVER happen to me): Say I scammed someone, and didn't want to get cought for it. I could just change my username so no one could adentify me. I could continue scamming people 'till my name changes get used up. Shadow kinda already pointed it out, and I just wanted to make it clear.

I support to be able to change the capitalization, but not to change usernames completely, though.
Think about it, if you're known as -let's say- Res123, then you change to something completely different, people won't even know who you are anymore! o.o I would find it annoying to not know who everyone is anymore. :c

I have an idea, Fluzz! Instead of changing our username we could have both a username and a screen-name, the screen-name could be changed but the username couldn't, the screen-name would be visible on the forums, sb, blogs, etc. The username could only be seen on one's profile. :) So even if anybody wanted to scam someone they would still get caught because they'd only be able to change their screen-name. Not their username. :D

Actually, this would not be possible - everything you do on site is linked by your user ID, not your user name. Changing the name would not change the ID, so every rmail, blog post/comment, forum post, support ticket, shop purchase, etc would still show and be changed to the new username. No hiding here. =)
This is an idea that has been approved for a while but there has been a delay in releasing the item while final details are worked out. It is likely that staff will have to manually approve every name change as an additional step to discourage abuse of the feature.
