Don't remember if its been suggested before, don't' really care either tbh.

Let people see when a message was sent in the chatbox, specifically for the big chatbox otherwise it would clutter the smaller one.
Staff have access to this information, no idea why it's not available for other users.

1. Easier to keep track of your own advertisement times.
2. Can see when someone sent a "hey I'm offering this/this" during dead hours. I.e. You don't want to be responding to someone's message at 2:18 am when it's 3:40 am just because the chatbox is dead.

I have no idea on how coding works or the way this site is coded but I would like to assume that making this a feature for all users wouldn't be too difficult.

I rest my case.

I like this idea for the big chat box, but I'm imagining it would make the small chat box extremely cluttered and hard to read, at least in my opinion! Maybe an option to show or not show it would be good!

Agree with Avedori, it would clutter the small SB too much.

It also doesn't entirely solve the problem of viewing your last advertisement if the SB is moving quickly o3o
Right now the best way to keep track of that is by using an external timer.

Do agree it'd help the dead hours issue haha, but you can also Rmail someone whenever in doubt.

I'm sort of on the fence regarding this suggestion -- I can see benefits but I can also see... Not even drawbacks, just a lack of need for it, and I don't think the benefits are enough to make it worth coding in.
