I completely agree sometimes things happen irl we cant log on and if we had high tier its harsh seeing it get reset

I agree!

I very literally do log on every day, but I certainly do not remember to do everything every day.

Even for daily rewards, I forget they're there until I hit a goal and get an alert!

I have not tried to seriously do the springs after losing a couple month long streak a few years ago. I visit every once in a while and get my springs-ordained stick or pebble lol.

Again, I agree. It's a little sad to lose a high streak. Daily life happens, and sometimes, springs probably won't be your highest priority.

Yeah, that's the worst. I lost a pretty long one the other day, but nothing like that

Okay I did not read through everyone's post so I apologize if this has already been suggested, but having a 2 day grace period after you reach a certain amount of time logging in every day. 
So say you were able to login and do the springs every day for 14 days, after that if you miss a day you can still retain your streak as long as you login the second day to keep it going. Something like that.

A log of what u get each/the previous day/s will also be helpfull.
That way we can check if we did used them "today" or not
