Just a idea, but I think it would be useful to have a Egg Timer or a Incubation Timer.

What I mean is that once you incubate a egg it would show a countdown in minutes of how long the egg has to go until 100% incubation. It would be very useful to me because my mom sometimes tells me to get off the computer and I tell her "It will only take 5 more minutes for my egg to incubate! Wait just a moment." Then 20 minutes later it's at 100%

The percentage doesn't help in any way. As no egg has 100 minute incubation time, so I guess how long it will take and I usually forget. I check back into my hatchery ever 5 minutes hoping it will be 100. Then I TRY to remember what time I incubated it at. But I cant. xD

Then there could be a hide button so you can just hide it anytime if it gets annoying. I think it's a good idea and will help a lot of users such as myself.

You can easily figure this put with math. You learn proportions in middle school. You just have to think it out.

Let's say an egg has 9 minutes incubation time.
It's at 35%.

So:
35                  x
-------     =    -------
100                9

You use cross-multiply.

100x =(35•9)
100x = 315
-------- --------
100      100

x = 3.15

So, 9 - 3.15 = 5.85 more minutes are left.

It's really not as complicated as it looks. I learned this in 6th grade, and I'm now in 10th.

It may not be that complicated Root, but for people like me who can do the math, but are extremely lazy when they're on because they're usually pretty tired (at least I am sometimes XD) or those who don't know how to do the math, or those who just hate doing it etc. this might not be a bad idea. Although the math usually is pretty easy to do. I see both sides.

Root~ I never really thought about it. I am in 8th grade and I did learn it. It didn't exactly stick but if I looked over it I guess it would be stuck up there. *pokes brain* It is pretty simple. But other users either don't know about this stuff or don't want to take the time out of there lives to think about it as Guiven stated. I think it would be a pretty good idea still. :)

Well, we can't always be lazy -.- I mean, the math shouldn't take more than 3 minutes. But I do see you point, how it would be easier. But sometimes easier isn't better.

You got a point there...I'm already into the routine of the math. But I wonder what others think. Other! Make a opinion! :P

Honestly, I wouldn't use the timer all that much, I usually am able to estimate how much time the egg still needs to incubate if I don't have the time to do the math (which isn't often) but there are younger users on this sight that could benifite from an egg timer.

A good idea. I'm still in 5th grade and I know of other users still in elementary grades too. I don't know how to do the math and if I did, I'd be too lazy to do it.
