I know there are threads like this, but I want to compile a large one full of ALL the ideas. Comment lots and lots! :3 Pets on PERMANENTLY banned accounts; Showroom/Unbuyable Ranch pets
Delete them after x amount of days/months. "I don't even think the pets should be thrown out to the public. It was their fault they were banned, and the general public should not reap the goods the account used to have just because they lost it." Items in Gallery/Storage Delete them too? -shrug- ._. Items in User Shops, I'm not so sure about deleting. :s I dunno why... it just doesn't seem like a good idea. D: I haven't much time to look through more threads but please post. :3 I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts I could add.

I think we should leave both the Ranch and Merchant shop open for a while. Delete all the insanely priced ones (Like a poorly named sepia Intes for 2 billion)and leave the rest. Leave all the stuff in the Merchant Shop, there may be some worthwhile CS items to be salvaged from it. Gallery items, Showroom pets and Profile pets should be wiped, and then their names are freed up again. After x amount of days the (permanently banned) username is wiped, freeing it up for future generations. ??? |

I feel all items should just be deleted. Pet names freed up, not forested. Username should stay, as well as any information on the user. It should stay somewhere as they were banned for a reason, seems the site would need to have that info.

I agree with Aria, I have an account that was banned but the staffies *huggles dems* let me keep this one, but I have the name Mythalian on that account. :(

I think that just freeing up the names leaves it a bit too open, and foresting them all makes it a bit more fair. I know of a certain user who has pretty much every name I want, and to just free them up give an advantage to ranchers who have more hatches. In regards to items, merchant shops should definitely be left, as you can always save the tu for items, even really pricey ones. Galleries tend to have really old rare items that shouldn't be deleted, because it would delete the history of the site. I'm sure that some banned users have items that are 25 OAK and just deleting them seems like a waste. Same goes or other retired items. Again, trashing these items seems like not the way we would want to deal with this, but since everyone only gets one trash pick per day, it's more fair than hatching freed names.

the only prob i have is with deleting items. i don't think that retired items should be deleted period. and when you think about it there are a lot of banned users that have been gone for a while and thus probably have retired items. deleting those would be like what Renaissance said, deleting some of res' history.

I talked about baning in my forum "banned?" its all the ideas people came up with and what we think about it. I also set up a support list so those who think need to be done about it just go onto it and right support!

They were banned, we can't get the items anyway, so delete everything, Merchant and Rancher shop. Keeping those open would be reaping their goods. Ranchers have more hatches for a reason... They are supposed to get good pets, Good names and sell them. If they don't then they aren't a Rancher. It shouldn't matter. You can't get into a banned person's merchant gallery anyway. So what does it matter. If you want certain names then you should buy hatched pets without a name, like everyone did for when they deleted the dead pet's name.

We would be left with no records and nothing to refer back to, and the possibility of someone else re-creating that username is just opening up a huge can of worms. =P The only possibility here that may actually happen is to move all pets from showrooms and possibly rancher shops to the profile and allow them to die off. Picking and choosing which pets to move or leave is not an option - there are over 100,000 accounts registered, and if I had to guess, I'd say that less than 10,000 are legit...that would literally take years, as it would have to be done manually that way. ript can take care of moving things in minutes. Accounts and items will not be deleted, items will not be thrown into the trash, pets will not be forested. There is no reason to delete merchant shops or galleries either.

Possibly, if going by 14brokenmirror's suggestion, the food pen is wiped as well? This will make the whole process move faster.

I support, since I am looking for names, and they're on banned accounts. I don't think it's right that the names aren't deleted or forested, and items as well. If you're looking for a name, would you think it's fair if it's stuck on a banned account? I think keeping pets on a banned account is a moot point.

I agree. Just force them off onto the profile, and let them die. Though clearing the food pen would be awesome too. Who knows how much food was stuffed into there?

Hmm. This is my opnion; If the showroom & inventory would be dumped into forest/&Trash isthumus? So all the rescreatians would be able to get all those items&pets. ? Am i just repeating something,.. (?) EDIT: And with this, i only mean the permanently banned accounts.. ::3

pets should be deleted, not sent to the grave not forested.
items should be put into an NPC merchant shop/black market.
usernames kept.
none of the pets are to go to the forest, if wont be very helpful if this banned user has a lot of gibberish names. just delete them and clear names for users who have been dying to get them. albino kiokas? too bad, delete them too.
items not to be dumped at the trash, its not fair for a noob player to just pick up a retired item. putting them in a NPC merchant shop/black market at the correct price will allow collecters to buy it. tu made from this can be deleted.
no one wants to have peeople asking "hey, i thought you were banned?" everytime they enter the sb just because they have the same username as the banned person, so keep the banned usernames somewhere.

I love this idea, but what if a user gets mistaken for multiple accounts and is banned and before they can send a support ticket, their pets and username is wiped out. That wouldn't be good, would it?
