As some of you may know, the forest is almost always empty.
When there are pets within it, they are gone within a few minutes.
I suggest a different concept with the forest, similar to the springs/hatching a pet.

Exploring the forest, you could find an unnamed (colour) (creatu).
This would go off a tier sort of concept. The longer you have been visiting, the higher/rarer the pets.
And of course, CS pets will be excluded. Seasonals possibly as well due to possible overpopulation.
While exploring, you could still find nothing. As well as other user's pets.
Basically you could also find pets without names. (as if they were hatched there)
Visiting consecutive days would increase chances of higher success rates.
This would also increase the rarity of the pets you stumble upon while exploring.
I also suggest that the daily tries be lowered to 5. It's too easy to clear the forest with 10.

Feel free to add to this! Just an idea that had popped into my head a few days ago.

I dont support finding unnamed coloured creatu even if its rare to find a good colour, but I like the sound of the forest having tiers :D

(along with tier prizes xD)

Support!

Especially with the limit to 5. Once someone dumped like 3 pages of pets into the forest (or so I heard from other users) but by the time I got there just 2 hours later everything was gone XD

That, or make the chances of finding a pet lower with each explore.

I don't support people being able to randomly find coloured unnamed creatu in the forest. We need ways to keep coloured creatu more valuble and not more common.

Second. Why is the forest empty. Everyone on this thread ask yourself, how often do I release creatu in the forest. Now ask yourself how often you take pets from the forest when you know it is not empty. I'll bet for 95% of users the latter will be significantly higher numbers. We only have ourselves to blame for the empty forest.

However, I do thing things could change to have more incentives to foresting pets. Due to having discussed this in a previous suggestions thread I know the tu amount for foresting probable wont increase. They dont want to encourage hatching natties for the sake of foresting them for money. Though dumping pets for points that could be used for item prizes would be good in my opinion with better creatu (colours, seasonals, uldavi and retured) giving significantly more points than natties. Like 5000 nattie pets = points of foresting 1 galta or perhaps even just giving 0 poins for common nattie-creams.

I agree with Llama, the forest is usually empty because there is not enough incentive to use it (other than to take creatu from it). Some sort of point system with prizes would be fun and probably help increase the value of the most common creatu (natural/sepia/cream) a bit, as people would want to buy them to release them into the Forest.

I also support the original suggestions or tiers and of limiting searches to 5, rather than 10. Even if the Forest remains the same as it is now, this would at least slow down the rate at which it can be emptied and give others a fair shot.

I don't support findable unnamed creatu for the reasons already stated.
