I want to see pictures of the new rotten creatu eggs. xD
I gave my hoard of every single creatu egg away not too long ago, so I don't have the "pleasure" of looking at old eggs.
(I hatch as I find now.)
Or is there not a difference between fresh eggs and old eggs?

There's definitely a difference.  You can almost smell 'em.  XD  NOTE:  NONE of my seasonal eggs turned "old," regardless of the fact that they're really much older than the others in my Hatchery.  The eggs that I have that turned "old" are all the FREE eggs that we find on the planets anytime.

I can provide more images if you want, but I think you can just add "Old" to the image URLS to get the altered egg images.  :)

Do old eggs have a higher chance of failing?  I hatched 3 old eggs today and 2 of them failed.

I'm still not sure, though ... Do failed hatches use up a hatch?

Mine didn't, but I don't know if that's normal or glitched.  I've had two fail so far and both times I still got my available hatch for the day.

LOL at the Jaaku and Narwi eggs!  The Jaaku looks p.o'ed, and the Narwi is melting.  XD

That Jaaku cracks me up. I don't even.

Judy, I think that's a glitch. xD I was told to just not hatch another egg in place of one that failed.

(Don't trust me on that though omg.)
