Rescreatu sure has changed a lot, and the more I think back to the past, the more I begin to miss the good old days. xD I remember:

• You could win morphing potions from certain quests. I had so many otachie morphing potions that I just wasted. Dx
• You could actually choose the gender of a pet when you hatched it.
• Incubating wasn't necessary.
• No ebil egg collecting limit. Go ahead, hoarde seasonal eggs to your heart's desire.
• Considering the society cla.ss, despite it's uselessness.

Sure, I understand that most of the above things were changed to improve the site, but a little reminiscing won't hurt.

... Makes me sad. I don't really remember how Res' community was back when I joined, just a day after you did. I didn't care much, so I hardly kept track of or committed anything to mind. x3

All I really recall from back then is item and pet releases, like the caffienated turkey and the Uilus. And of course the days when morphing potions were worth like, twenty thousand tu. In fact, the only reason I have a ginger Paor is that I was able to hatch a bunch of Chimby and morph the first color I got.

From later on I remember stoof like O.D.E., Res' survival of the hack, Drama Llamas and their infernal b@rking.. uhm. The forty-minute reset lag that always brought awesomeness swarming into the Shoutbox.. Shoutbox smileys and sbmad.. the legend that bushy eyebrows would turn pets shadow, like Patz' now-dead Zenirix.. the day we spent probably twelve hours or more stuck in the Shoutbox while v2 was loaded, constantly asking 'Are we almost there yeeeet?'...

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of it. xD

I had to take a six month hiatus from Res, thanks to my unreliable computer, so I wasn't there during the hack or the transition to V2. But I also remember the debut of the uilus and the smilies. xD

I think I also remember when the town hall used to list people who were banned or suspended. <.< >.> But I can't be too sure. 

Well, when i joined I was active for about a month, then I just left for no reason, then came back in like february 2009 then left like may 2009. So, I wish they still had the news from 2008 and stuff. For example, I remember the news when the 2 heart recipe cards & the 2 Christmas recipe cards. But then i forgot about this site, saw it on some petsite review, and remembered my account, then logged in. Sadly I barely remembered anything. I wish I did remember some other stuff..

xD I 'member when I first stumbled upon the town hall.. Found it pretty darn interesting, actually. I'd been here for such a long time, and there was still something I hadn't known about. And for some reason it showcased banned people. That seemed a little weirdy. o3o

Yah, Patz accidentally wiped the updates from the database one day. That's why they don't go back through Res' whole history. Everyone in the Shoutbox was freaking out about it too. xD 'Uhm. Why are the updates blank? o_o' And then Patz shows up, all, 'So I accidentally deleted all the news... lol'

Ohyahs, and I recalled something else. P: The Otachie's second (I think) revamp. I didn't like it much at first, as Saruu was around twenty-five then, and I still think the teen looks a little funny.. But then just a few days later, I couldn't get over the freakin' epic adult. xD

I wasn't here at all for the recipe cards. xD Or for most of the revamps for that matter. I came back and suddenly some of my pets and items were so awesome looking. That, or they were dead.

I KNEW I remembered that about the town hall 8D. It was a nice place to p*censored* the time at. (Look, he got banned for swearing. 8o)

I fell in love with the mirabilis when I came back. xD I had used a morphing potion on a blonde pet before I left, and I was so happy that blonde mirabili had a blonde colour, and were revamped. 

Drama Llamas. ODE. (And we named it ODE instead of OED because we decided that the latter implied too much errectile dysfunction.) Remember when Uilus and Easero were released. Otachies revamped.

I also remember when every night on the pet search was a free-for-all for me and a few other people because for the first 3 or 4 months after I joined you could find a ridiculous amount of amazingly-named pets for 1k-10k. I'm pretty sure I bought God for a few thousand. We knew that name envy was inevitable, so we decided to cash in for ourselves and speed up the process. ><

I remember the town hall thing. xD I wish they'd kept that. It serves two purposes, 1. To satisfy the banned users' unending curiosity as to why they've been banned, and 2. It allows the rest of us to point and laugh.

I remember when the background was darker and the white stripes thinner and I remember the 2008 september Hack

though my join date on my profile says i joined after the hack, which is true to a point, i joined like 3-4 months before hand and my account got wiped, so i rejoined

I remember when the Easero was revamped and what it looked like before it was revamped.

The 45 minute reset lag was greattttt. Lots of fun involved there. Rofl.

I remember when  I actually knew everyone in the SB... o_o;

xD Patz remembers everythinnnng.

Yah.. I kinda liked the Easero better before. x3 I know Liz was going for fluffy, and she said she's a lot happier with this version than she was with the first, but.. it's just a little too much for me.

Ohyahs! I remember when the Iluvu was a horrible scary thing, too. xD I always wondered why the heck people wanted them, 'specially since I couldn't see how funny it was back then. Now I'd love 'em - like how I love the creeperface Drindian we have right now. 8D

And I really, really wish I'd known about name-collecting. I could have one of those crazy-amazing showrooms, like some of you guys have. xD *pokes Tri*

I was never a real name person. xD I was only really into the pet colours. I didn't care if I had a pet named Bob for gawd's sake, as long as it was a cool colour. Heck, I sold a blonde otachie named Tess for 90K, and badly named blondes don't even sell for as low as 90K. Dx

I remember when I didn't know anyone here, and just spent my days lurking and hatching and whatnot. Now I'm a bit more active. xD And I can actually remember some people. 8D

I cry about the loss of my gender picking abilities sometimes. :C But I know it was for the better of the economy.

As well as the daily pickup limit. Though I don't think I actually picked up more than 100 eggs anyway. o_o 

One thing I do NOT miss is the SB. No more refreshing omg. ^0^ 

Pft I remember when Tesuri eggs were really small looking and you had no limits on what you could name your pet. I remember before colors and I remember when you had to name a pet before seeing its color. I remember Zookie and Robin and Mint.

Oh, I also remember that fad where everyone took pictures of themselves holding signs that said things.

And I remember MISTERJAMES.

I 'member Misterjames. Never actually knew him, and at the time he really intimidated me, but. x3 I saw him online quite a bit for a while.

And Zookie was hilarious. I have a few pretty good Shoutbox screenies involving him.. and I'm pretty sure he came back later on as Ardor. At first it was just a hunch, 'cause some people called him Zak and he had that horrible guttermind, but I'm preeeetty sure it was him. xD

I also met Robin, but that was just a couple times in the Shoutbox, with him displayed only as 'Guest'. He showed us a LOT of interesting things, like old!Tesuri and an unreleased snake Creatu (which I'm guessing is the Settyn, a snake Creatu I've seen mentioned in an art dump on dA).

And FFFFF, Suga. I still kinda miss the old Shoutbox. x3 At least with refreshes you had a bit more control over the thing. No browser-crashing ftw. And taking extended screenies was so much easier.

Ohman. I remember not being able to get on res for weeks when the hack occurred. I was w wreck. it wasn't till then that I realized how obsessed I was. But I got on every day as soon as I got home from school. And every day, I was disappointed by not being able to get on. Drove me nuts. I'd sit there for hours, refreshing.

When Res came back, I remember playing for ages, though I was a bit disappointed by the loss of my account(just barely. If i had joined like, a week earlier, I would have still been there. D<)

Other than that, I remember a few Revemps...And the old SB...*shudder and faints*

L: Omg I remember when you had to name a pet before seeing it's colour, too! x3 It was on my old account that I forgot the p*censored*word to, not this one. That was weeeird. o3o

I also remember choosing a pets personality or sometin in the hatchery.

I ALSO remember when the pets were in a coloumn and all listed at once with there pet page right under their pic. xD 

I remember the day malals and uiluses were released. :D I loved the old malal eggs. x3 So swirly and blue. 

I also remember when there was no such thing as blonde and silver. :3 And when kiokas & omnis could only be gold or natural.

I also remember when DKs did not exist. DK colours made pet-collecting harder, but more colourful! 8D I also remember people with amber dye kits on their wishlists and I was freakin out like "OMG what's an amber DK? There aren't any in shops!!!! D8" Lolz

Elmer: Omg I chose society 'cuz I wanted to be a nobody. 8D And then when I found out I could only get 4 pets I was like "Omg I can only get 4 pets. T_T I wish I chose rancher D:" Lol. xD

I'm glad I wasn't here during the hack, but a lot of the pets in my graveyard seemed to have disappeared. Dx When I came back to this site in August of 09, I only had Mellamay, Whoover, Minntera, and Tessarina. x3 I think I added quite a bit to my account since then.

I think the last pet I saw revamped before I left was the otachie, and I was so in love with it. 8D 

I was going  to choose the society cl*censored* only because I was curious of the caves. o3o But then I did a little research and learned that the rancher cl*censored* was probably best for me. xD

I remember having to store pets in my rancher shop before showrooms were added to the site. x[
