But such is not the case, dear reader. To be something that you are not is a truly horrible fate. It is a state of constant turmoil, and it hurts every fiber of your being. You have to learn to become that something while staying yourself.
Welcome to the life of a Shapeshifter. Welcome to Hell.
Hey guys, this is a small group Semi-Lit/lLit Shapeshifter RP. In this world, well, it isn't easy being a Shapeshifter. They're hunted, sold, tested on, and other things that are too horrible for words. Privacy? Yeah, not an option with Shapeshifters. Most say they barely escaped with the shirt off their back. Well, most Shapeshifters don't get that in captivity.
They're treated like animals. They sleep, breathe, and eat in a cage. Every day they're let out into a twisted sort of "zoo", where people can poke and prod them and make fun of them. There is almost no way out, and if you get caught escaping, your life is over. Not in the way that whiny teenagers say "Ugh, my life is OVER!" When they can't go to the movies or something. No, you're a dead (wo)man. They are considered martyrs among the shapeshifters, and every day they seethe over the lost lives.
However, that does not mean that no one has ever escaped. There have been a few who saw three goals ahead of them. They pursued those goals, believed in themselves, and escaped from the horrors of their lives.
Flee, Run, and Survive. These are your goals. This is all you've ever wanted.
And if you want to live, there is only one thing to do with you life.
Escape it.
Okay, so some ground rules c:
~No God-modding or Power-playing
~No mary/gary sues
~Each shapeshifter has a max of three animals it can shift into. This does not include a half human-half animal stage that may accompany some shifts.
~Be Semi Lit or Literate. This means that you will need to post AT LEAST a paragraph each time, five sentences to a paragraph. Preferably more. Try your hardest at correct spelling/grammar, but everyone mixes up a then and than occasionally.
~At most, there will only be 4-5 people rping. This is to make sure that no one gets left behind.
~If you do not post within 4 days, we will go on without you.
~Be kind and courteous to others.
~Violence and romance are DEFINITELY necessary, but keep it PG13
~Gay/Bi/Lesbian characters are fine, but I'm totally horrible at rping them myself, so please don't expect me to rp one ^^'
