Species: He was an elf, but when he first shifted, something went wrong in his brain, so now he's stuck as a serval. (Not exactly original, but it's something.)

Other: He could be some high ranked noble or something...

Age: She looks 15, but she's a lot older than that.

Species: Human shifter.

(I'll start.) Nathaniel sat on the east wall of the castle, looking out across the grassy plain that stretched off into the distance. He was bored. Completely and utterly bored. Why had he agreed to come to this place? He didn't belong here, and almost everyone knew that, everyone whose opinion didn't count anyway. He didn't have a problem with the formality, he was generaly well mannered, he just didn't like being cooped up under a roof, it made him claustrophobic. He sighed, that stupid king. I see no army, there's not a foe in sight. They aren't even my enemies. I should leave, right now, he's probably plotting our demise right now, kill all the nolbles, then he'll have absolute power... no, that's too predictable. He shook his head, If he wants to fight a war, then he should use his own soldiers, he has more than enough to do so. Myst fluttered about in the form of a wood pigeon. Not any known species of wood pigeon, but if it had to likened to one it would probably be a New Zealand wood pigeon, as it was about the same size and build, but the colours of its plumage were so different it was hard to tell. The edges of her flight feathers were a soft purple, and so were her tail feathers she had a white 'apron' of breast feathers while the rest were a pale blue, another plumage mutation was the purple topknot plume on the top of her head. She angled her wings and flew strait up, and continued to rise until she lost momentum, she then flipped over backwards and plummeted towards the ground with a whoop.

Caroline was walking down the long, dirt road. It seemed to go on forever. When will this road end? She thought this over and over in her head. Finally, when she was about to give up hope, she saw a fork in the road. Left was to a big castle, and right was 10 more miles to walk to the other side of the city. She decided to go left.
When she reached the castle, she stood at the bottom of the steps, looking at the large entrance. Should I go and knock on the door? Yes she did decide too. She walked up the steps, while at the same time taking deep breaths. She reached the huge wooden door, and knocked softly on it, then took a step back and waited. |

(I swear I posted... dang, I hate it when that happens.) Nathaniel looked down at the girl who had knocked on the door, I highly doubt that she's the army that we've been waiting for... then again; looks are often deceiving. He jumped off the wall and bounded down the first flight of stairs leading to ground level, then across the hall that led to the door she had knocked at, "who goes there?" he called in the loudest voice he could manage, which was actually quite loud considering his size.

Caroline was a bit frightened at the sound of the voice, but quickly answered back. "It's Caroline. Caroline Bernal." She said this not to loudly, but hopefully loud enough for the voice to hear her.

Nathaniel nodded to himself, "and whose side are you on in this pointless war?" he hadn't meant to add the 'pointless', but it had came out, and he hopped the king wouldn't tie him up and pelt him with rotten fruit as punishment if he found out.

Nathaniel shrugged slighty, "very well." He knew that she could be lying, and that she could be a spy, but he honestly didn't care. He looked at the large bolt that kept the door shut, there's no way I'm going to be able to open that...

Celia smiled. She said a little something that she knew would work. "Okay person, look at the door now. It should be able for you to open." She said this with a smile and knew the door would open for sure. She waited to see what the strange person she didn't know would do.

Caroling waited for the door to open. She stood there waiting to see who would be on the other side of the door. She could hear the gunfire a few miles off, and was getting a bit scared.

Nathniel uttered at slight hiss of frustration a the bold didn't budge and the sound of gunfire reached his ears.
Myst landed beside him and cocked her head, "having trouble, master Nathaniel?"
Nathaniel looked at her, "would you mind opening the door?"
"No sir," Myst shifted into a human sized dragon covered with feathers that has the same colouration as the pigeons, she then unbolted the door and pushed it open. She nodded to the girl outside the door and then shifted back into the pigeon, "good day to you, mam." She then took off to fly around the castle.
