Intro:
When she awoke, Svali was groggy and confused. Her mind swam with questions. How did she get here? What would happen now? She looked around the room she was in, searching for clues as to what had happened. Two things quickly became apparent to her. First, was that she was one of nine people laying on the floor in an enormous house. Second, was that they were being watched. She came to the second realization when a loud, male voice came on what she assumed was an intercom system of sorts. She clambered to her feet.
"Hello," said the voice simply. "I am The Watcher. You are probably wondering why I brought you here." He paused for effect. "I selected each of you randomly off the streets, and I want to make it perfectly clear that you were not chosen for who you are, but rather what you are."
As the man spoke, Svali noticed the others beginning to stand up as well.
"Now, the reason you are here is purely to entertain me," the watcher continued. "We are going to play a little game, as it were. Your task is simple. You will fight each other to the death. Don't even think about escape, because there is no way out. Whichever one of you is the last one standing, will receive three prizes. The first is your life. The second is your freedom. The third," he paused once more, "Is $5,000,000. Cash. Good luck," he concluded, and there was a faint *click* sound as the intercom shut down.
Plot:
Nine people have been drugged and captured, then placed in a house together by a man who calls himself The Watcher. The Watcher has made it clear that these nine people must fight each other to the death to earn their freedom, as well as a cash prize.
Setting:
The setting is an enormous, mansion like house. The Watcher's victims wake up on the main floor, in the living room. There are two floors, not including the basement. There is a dumbwaiter in the kitchen that brings limited amounts of food every day at a set time. It also has a sink with running water, a fully stocked liquor cabinet and a fridge, though it is empty. There are two bathrooms on the second floor, both with running water. The second floor also has four medium sized bedrooms with two beds each, and a smaller fifth bedroom with one bed. The Watcher's victims must decide themselves who will sleep in which room. Every window is bricked up, as is the only door that leads outside.
Rules:

1. All of Res's rules apply.
2. I keep having to change this rule. Since there
are now FIVE of us, we will all have 2 characters except for Sugar xD I am also playing The Watcher.
3. Please keep gender ratio as even as you can. It doesn't really matter.
4. Do not powerplay, or godmod. Yes, the plot is based on killing and survival, but your characters are not immortal or omnipotent, so don't act like they are. If you plan on killing someone, give them a chance to fight back.
5. Violence and romance are encouraged.
6. Characters may form alliances, but remember that the only way they will ever get out of the house is to be the last one standing, so some truces will eventually have to be broken. Threatening suicide won't work like it did in the Hunger Games. The Watcher doesn't care who lives and who dies, this is for his own personal entertainment.
7. I already agreed to let you join, but I still need to know you read the rules, so put the word pretzel somewhere in your first post.
8. Weapons like tasers, guns, and knives are allowed, but they have to make sense for your character to have. For example, there was a cop in the movie who was on duty when he was captured. The Watcher allowed him to keep his gun.
9. Be as verbally abusive to The Watcher as you want, just remember he is the one who gives you and the others food, and he has no problem with stopping that altogether and watching you starve.
10. Stay alive.
