Personality: Sami is kind of a punk girl. She likes to wear purple, red, gray, and black and will rarely wear anything else (unless it involved her house) willingly. She absolutely loves horror anything and is a bookworm, which few people know. She keeps to herself a lot of the time and is quiet and withdrawn when she first meets someone. But she quickly warms up to people and afterwards is very outgoing, random, and a little insane. She has a nasty temper, and is easy to set off. The easiest thing to make her snap is calling her by her full name.

House: Sami shall be a Gryffindor

Pet: Hell's Belle (Belle), a tortoiseshell-and-white female cat

Looks:

Personality: Zakary was raised with his father telling him he was better than everyone else (because he's a pureblood) and his mother telling him that purebloods are no better than anyone else. And so he's a little conflicted in that department. His attitude changes a lot; one day he'll act like a cocky jerk, and the next he'll be kind to anyone he talks to. Overall, he's usually quiet and rarely talks unless he has a good reason to, but he's not shy like most people think.

If one was to look into a certain compartment on the Hogwarts Express that day, they would likely believe that it was empty. But if they entered, they would soon be greeted by the shrill hiss of a cat, and realize that the compartment was not vacant as they first believed. For sitting silent and still in a shadowy corner was a girl of 11, a bit tall for her age and wearing nothing but black. Her auburn hair fell in slight waves to frame her pale face, and highlighted her gray-blue eyes. Pacing the seat beside her was a small cat, white with patches of tortoiseshell coloring and a fierce amber gaze.

Sami Daniels was this girl, and she liked the way she could blend into dark corners. She often used it to her advantage. That day, Sami sat boredly in her compartment, staring out the window and awaiting arival at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hell's Belle, her cat, explored the compartment curiously, stopping beside Sami for a scratch under the chin every few minutes.

Zakary Diera was exactly the opposite from Sami Daniels. He liked to be the one most noticed in a crowd, the center of attention. Of course, his father had raised him on the belief that purebloods belong in the spotlight. The same day Sami and Hell's Belle sat isolated on the train, Zakary was looking for a compartment to occupy. He slid open the door to one, and walked inside. It was empty, or so he though. But then he was met by a hiss and the frantic clicking of claws against the floor, as a small cat darted out from under a seat. Sami looked up from her spot in the corner, and gave the boy a once-over.

"Hello," she murmured before looking back to the scenery passing by.

Eliza got on the train, hauling her suitcase in with her. She knew she wasn't suppsed to bring it in her compartment with her, but she didn't really care much. Her checked scarf was wrapped tightly around her neck, dangling down at one side to her slender waist. The matching checked skirt wa slightly ruffled, and she straightened it before heading for a compartment. Slipping open the door of the first one she saw, she sat down with a melodramatic sigh, ignoring the boy alone, and giving a slightly startled ex
pression when she finally noticed the girl in the shadows. She made a soft shushing noise to the cat, before slipping out her potions book and studying up a bit.

Mukura got on the train and looked round hesitently. He didn't know much of the wizarding world, and what he had seen so far freaked him out. It was complete unnatural. He had been quick to discover the fantastical animals section at his local library, though, and had borrowed several books with absolutely no intentions of returning them. He reached up a gloved hand and pushed a few stray locks of hair that had fallen over his eyes out of the way, glancing round for somewhere to sit. He had a brown cloth draw string bag in his other hand, complete with all his things to amuse himself. Just as he was about to go into a compartment, he heard them talking about 'filthy mud-bloods' and decided against it. Wandering along, he came to an unlocked door, slid it open, and stepped inside warily, eyeing the three other people in it, before plopping himself down in the corner opposite the girl in the shadows. He looked out the window, a few locks of white and black hair dangling over his eyes.

Sami looked up and starred at each of the three other people in her compartment in turn, silent. Hell's Belle scurried away from them and leapt into her owner's lap, earning a stroke from Sami. Two boys and another girl, all of which looked like first-years. At least she would be stuck with a bunch of older, experienced students the whole ride. She smirked at her thoughts, and rubbed her cat's ears.

"Try not to irritate Hell's Belle," she said flatly to them. "You'll get yourself some nasty scratches." With that, she returned her smokey gaze to the window, shaking hair out of her eyes.

Zakary stared blankly at the girl in the shadows before sitting down hesitantly. "Uh...okay," he replied, but he wasn't sure she was listening. He looked to the other two. "I'm Zakary," he told them, trying to be friendly.

Eliza, of course, was adamant the cat loved her. ''Naw, I won't tick him off, he likes me.'' She said, her voice childish and imature. She heard Zakary, and replied to him with a smile on her face. ''I'm Eliza, but you can call me 'Liza.'' She said with a little laugh. She looked at the anti-social girl in the corner. ''What's your name?'' She asked her.

Mukura heard them speak, all of them, and decided to keep his mouth shut until he was spoken to directly. They didn't need to know his name. Probably just end up calling him Mucky again. He didn't mind the nickname itself, it was the reasons behind them nicknaming him that he detested. He couldn't help his birth rights. Hell, he didn't even know who his parents were, let alone which was the muggle and with was the pureblood.

Sami looked up at the other girl, smiling slightly. "She may, she may not. She's picky." She pushed a hand through her hair, an old habit. "I'm Sami. Or Sam." She shrugged. "Whichever you want to call me." She glanced towards the other boy, the quiet one. "And you are?" She pulled her legs up, crossing them on the seat, and waited.

Zakary heard Sami reply, but his gaze was on the cat, who was glaring with a very unfriendly demeanor at him. He worried that the cat was some kind of demon, the way it was acting. Strange animal, he commented to himself. He didn't dare say it aloud, fearing it would offend Sami. When the girl asked the other boy his name, Zakary turned his head to look at him, curious. He hadn't said anything since he'd come in.

Eliza smiled. ''Well, I like hi-sorry, her, so I hope she likes me back.'' Fishing around in the rather large suitcase, banging it accidentally int Zakarys legs to bequickly followed by a 'sorry', she pulled out a strip of fish. ''Want a snack?'' She held it out to the cat, before looking to the other boy she had asked the question to. He was so quiet, she had forgotten he was there. She wondered what made him so shy and quiet. Maybe he just didn't like cats.

Mukura was quite happily staring out the window, in his own little world, thinking if the chocolate frogs the wizards ate could actually feel you biting into them, if they had thoughts and emotions and thinking patterns just like people, when he was interrupted. The other girl, Sami, had spoken to him directly. ''My name is Mukura.'' He said simply, his voice calm and clear, before looking back out the window. He didn't feel like talking. Talking would eventually get round to the subject of family or bloodlines, and then they'd find out he was a mudblood. Not that they wouldn't find out anyway.

Sami watched as Hell's Belle crept cautiously towards Eliza, tailtip swaying. In a blur of movement, she snatched the fish out of her hand and gulped it down happily, purring. Sami smirked and nodded towards the cat. "I think she may be warming up to you," she said, then looked back towards the other boy, Mukura. "Mukura," she echoed quietly. "Different. I like it."

Zakary rubbed his leg and replied with a quick "It's okay". He leaned back in his seat, watching the cat, still cautious. "So, you guys are all first years, right?" he asked. He thought so, but he wanted to make sure.
