Unable to name creatu?

I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong, but I can't name anything. I can hatch the egg fine and it takes me to the screen where you name them, but it doesn't work. I type in the name and click 'Finish Hatching your Creatu' and all that happens is the button gets thinner on click then returns back to normal.

I'm not trying to name them anything inappropriate, so I'm not sure if there's a glitch with the button or I'm doing something wrong. :)

Make sure it isn't a name that is already taken. Each name can only be on one Creatu at a time. Also, make sure it isn't more than 15 characters and only has alphanumerics in it, that means just letters and numbers. If it's a valid name and isn't taken, the box should turn green.

Edit: to see if a name is taken, go to Information -> Creatu Search and on that page there's a Name Check box. Type it in there and if there are 0 Creatu with that name it's free.
