You can trade and/or auction them. But some people are Merchants at first to stock their shops, then they switch over to Rancher to stock their rancher shops and for the hatches. They keep switching back and forth to restock their own shops.
Beware, though. There's a limited number of times you can switch for free. After that, it costs 75 credits to get a Token from the CS to switch, so use your free ones sparingly.
