Hullo. This is a user-made FAQ for v3 until the official FAQ is released! Feel free to post information and I'll add it in ASAP.
Pets/Eggs:Rot times:
--Rotting Eggs--
*Eggs go from Fresh to Old to Spoiled, and then they disappear. They don't poof, but they can be deleted from the hatchery. Regular eggs: 7 days between stages
Seasonal eggs: 1 year for full cycle
Credit Shop/Uldavian eggs: NEVER WILL ROT. There isn't a way to stop the eggs from
rotting. They'll rot anywhere. Let's also remember that eggs can't be
moved from the Hatchery anyway, except for trades and sending them to
others/deleting them.*
As of right now, it is believed that all common and seasonal eggs WILL rot ANYWHERE, incubated or unincubated! There is a 20% hatch fail rate for Common and Seasonal eggs. CS and Uldavi eggs have a 100% successful hatch rate.
*As the egg moves through rotting stages, that rate will
increase. You can try to hatch an Old or Spoiled egg, but it'll be much
harder to succeed.*
You will recognize old and spoiled eggs by their images and their labeled name in the Hatchery. Creatu eggs CANNOT be stocked into merchant shops. This is not a glitch!
To send a pet to someone, click in it's picture in the player module to the left, then enter the username of the person you want to send it to.
To search for a pet, look under the Information menu at the top navigation bar. Stocks:The stock market is now located in GAMES. Games>Skill>Stocks Bank:Click your TU amount, shown under your HA image on the left menu.
Battle System / Training:
The battle system is currently down. It will be operational in about a month, give or take a few weeks.
Training is not currently working. It is not clear if this is a glitch or if it will be released at the same time as Battle.
Forum:
Regular forum avatars WILL be available to use for display, rather than your Human Avatar, but this still needs to be coded in.
To edit your forum subions, click the Main forum of the thread you are subscribed to. Click the "Subions" button in the upper right corner. There you will have the option to Unsubscribe.
Chatroom:The chatroom is located on the very bottom of the window. Click "Chatrooms" to open the chat tab, and slect "Main" for the public chat, or a room for a private chat. To make the chat large, click "Popout". To make it full-page, copy the URL from the popout page and paste it in a new tab in your browser. Currently, there is no formatting for the chatroom. Links are converted automatically. Glitches:If you encounter a glitch, post it in the UPDATE thread on the front page. I will update with known glitches when I can. Another known glitch: Some users cannot purchase from NPC shops. We are working to find out what causes this problem. [This issue should be fixed now. Thanks Pat! - edit: Pages other than the first page may still be giving an error. This has been reported.]***Second edit: Issue with pages has now been fixed!*** Some users cannot purchase from Rancher Shops. We are working on this problem as well.
If you are having trouble getting games or other areas of the site to work properly, and are using IE (Internet Explorer, big blue E icon) try switching to Firefox or Google Chrome instead - they are both superior browsers and should work in all areas except where there are known issues.

Guys, I know the egg rotting/fail thing is a huge deal, but trust me, there is an AWESOME reason behind it. It isn't quite ready yet, but you will LOVE IT once its out. =)

Ooh, surprises! I love surprises! >:D
Anyways, here's another glitch: I just bought a NCJB and it won't let me bean my Wyrae! D:< I hope that it's going to be fixed soon, cause I don't want my Wyrae to stay Cream!!! O__O This has been reported; thanks for letting us know! |

Hey, i noticed this glitch, on Chrome, not sure if others have it.Im browsing someone else's showroom, and if i try to check some category, it throws me into my OWN showroom. o_O
Plus,we should ttly have shades of grey to put in our font. And where is Tahoma? ;-; I dun like any other fonts. /whineybutt

Um, what happened to the stocks?! I was wondering that because I had put, like, a lot of tu in into them, but now, I can't find the stocks. I tried going to the address it used to be at, but it just leads to an error 404 page. Did the stocks page get permanently deleted or something?

No, if you read the FAQ up there you'll be able to find them. Rescreatu's adresses have changed slightly.

There had better be an awesome reason for all this Egg nonsense, because I am very displeased with the current state of things. It really changes the way Res plays, and I don't like it. I'm just here to collect pretty pets and now they're going to rot before I can hatch them?
And my seasonal eggs, which are a pain in the ;klsdfmi to get now won't hatch a fifth of the time?

The only eggs that fail are eggs that you can get completely free. You can only hatch 3 eggs per day at most; and all everyday eggs can be found...well, every day. To paraphrase what Pat said about the upcoming feature... Soon you guys are going to be TRYING to rot your eggs.

The biggest bothering glitch right now is really with the HA, though (Not being able to see the "apply" button, and changes not saving). Oh, and the food pen which is still not operational.
Most of the glitches that I was aware of have been fixed (like the usershops, etc)
The game is slowly going back to normal again! c: Yay Patrick! :D |

The food pen was fixed yesterday <3 The way it operates, you will need to have food with a higher point value in there if you want it to keep your pets fed... if the value of the food is say, 5 points, and the pet loses 10 hunger points at reset, the hunger level will drop. It's best to feed them to full first and then let the pen take it from there.
All of the other reported issues are being worked on. =)

I know they said that the food pen was fixed yesterday, but many users are still experiencing problems with it. Mine is stocked with Berries from all four planets and pizzas. That's it. So the hunger of my pets shouldn't drop! D:
