DW freaked me out as a kid as well. I expected a Dalek to jump out and exterminate me. Oddly enough, both the old and new series are my favorite show.

You are awesome! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

OHLARD. That reminds me.

I wasn't exactly priveleged enough to know of Doctor Who.. Never heard of it until 2008, actually. But one thing I did watch was computer games. My dad would start a game and play it for a little while each night, and we'd all sit around and watch and help.

Some of them were so darn scary. Especially for a little kid. x3

I think the worst was Max Payne. Yeeh, that game was so scary. He'd have these dream sequences every once in a while, and every one of them was terrifying. The first was a dark room and a blood trail you had to follow precisely or you'd die and start over. The second had the addition of screaming wife and baby.

And there was another I vaguely remember that had this room with a black-and-white tiled floor and.. I think a bar on one end, and everything was green-tinted and swirling. And you just knew that going to the other side of the room would make something terrible happen, but there was nowhere else to go. I can't remember what did happen, but. Eeh. 8c
