Hey! Has anyone read the book, "Thirteen Reasons Why"? Im getting it tomorrow and I am going insane, I'm so looking foward to reading it! Is it good? Will I cry? And why was Clay a reason Hannah killed herself? He had a crush on her, right?

I read it. It's a great book, in my opinion. I couldn't put it down for about an hour. It really shows you how little things can snowball into bigger, scarier things.

& As for Clay being one of Hannah's reasons for killing herself, you're just gonna have to read it. :)

When I posted this, I still hadn't read it. But now I'm done with it. It made me cry to! Cause Clay really wasn't one of the reasons, that much at least, cause Hannah herself said, "You shouldn't be on these tapes."

I felt so bad for Hannah when she was in the closet when you-know-what-happened. And I cried hysterically when she was talking to the guidence counselor and she just walked away from his room, and the last words she said were, "I'm sorry." And then Clay started crying with me :(

It really is so sad how all those little things all added up can trigger someone to commit suicide. During the entire book, I just wanted to go to Hannah and scream at her, "Don't do it!" Cause she could have gotten help. It's really an eye-opener.

Well anyway, in the last last scene, the very very last scene did he call Skye's name because..... I don't want to say it, but I think I know why he did it.

It's about this guy who recieves a box one day. And in the box are thirteen tapes. And they are from Hannah Baker, the girl who Clay, the guy, had a crush on. But Hannah committed suicide about a week before. And on each tape was a person, reason, and event of why she killed herself. And Clay realizes he's one of them.

This story is really powerful and it changes the way you see things. You'll see things as every small thing in life adds up to one big snowball. You should read it, its incredible

I know. Its like an onion. Every peal is like a side of every tape. The closer you get to the centre, the closer to the truth and why/how you got involved. It was quite dramatic.
