School has got me going blonde with stress. Now before you click out of here or say 'What the heck does that mean?' Well, my hair changes color depending on season and stress level. When I am calm it stays a nice brown color. Lighter in the summer, darker in the winter. When my stress levels go up, I start getting blonde hairs... Then the red hairs, I have no idea what they are for. They just are there. Anyway, it is currently almost midnight-on a school night- and I just finished an Essay that is due tommorrow. Thanks to wonderful Bitowurd, I don't need to worry about the peer editing thing... But that still doesnt help with my stress. Anyone have any tips or anything that doesnt involve stress balls, sleep, or breathing excersises? Most appreciated!

Oh gosh i understand your situation :c. At times like this, i would constantly remind myself that  being 'stressed' will not give me the best results what-so-ever, cuz well.. im stressed,  & so i try to calm myself by taking small breaks when studying :) (but ofcourse, try not to overdo it.) Also, i know this sounds weird, but maybe try not to '-hardcore focus-' too much on your work. You should listen to your surroundings while working , and it just .. surprisingly quite calming . I don't know if your already doing this, but i would also recommend trying not to 'compare' yourself with anybody, and also making a timetable to sort out your days and breaks? :D

Keep stuffed toys, and listen to whale songs. I know that sounds weird, but listening to whale songs really helps! I have some on my iPod to help me sleep at night.

I'm pretty apathetic with stress, which is probably a bad thing. xD What helps me is consoling myself, and drinking water. Water really helps. Long, slow sips.

I get stressed because of school, and ive been going hard on myself. On my looks. Listen to music, I listen to heavy metal rock, etc.., and thats how I gave up the music I use to listen to. I don't use stuffed animals. But I don't care. Well I'm starting to behave so i'm stress free at the minute. So yea music helps, also I can't sleep either...

I know you said no breathing exersizes, but what temporarly helps for me is taking a breath, as much is it is physicaly possible for my lungs to hold, then I hold it for a few seconds and exhale. Another thing you could do is to do something you realy like to keep your mind off of things

Talk to pets, stuffed animals, and listen to Owl City. That's what I do. :)
