So I was on DA one night and me and some people got into a mini-debate about "pokémon rights". Its like animal rights, but for pokémon. So tell what you think? Do you think its ok to eat pokémon? To battle them? Dress them up for contest and what-not....of course this is all speaking techniquely and hypothetically. So just make your voice known on where you stand for pokémon rights.
=sigh= I suppose I will have to break the ice. A friend of mine said to me one day,"Poor pokemon. They are kidnapped from their natural environments and forced to fight each other." I stared at him and said, "Dude they want to fight. If you go to Canalave City (sp chck) and read i the library it says that they want to be found and trained." He told me that was a load of crap. What do you all think?

I don't think I could really ever consider Pokemon to have rights. xD I guess yah, the whole thing is a dark concept if you think about it - especially in the context of things like the Pokemon Black creepypasta. But other than that, there's not much to say. It certainly seemed all right when we were kids and probably even more sensitive to pain and whatnot, so why not now?
wat i dont get is that a pricker bush would scratch them and it would hurt so how come they dont get chopped up wen they battle? they just fall over or something
