Ikr? The only other earthquake I can remember was this little rumbly two second thing. It was cute.

But this one was mean and scary. xDDD

I know everyone in VA felt it. I heard that people as far as NY and SC felt it too, I dunno about any farther than that though.

I think that's how far it could be felt. It's pretty big for the east coast. o3o

Yup, Richmond VA here, shook our whole building, didn't seem like it was going to end.  Being on one of the upper floors in a glass-fronted building was kind of scary.  We were all fine, but our boss freaked out and sent us home.  XD

I totally didn't feel a thing.

How far on to the east are you? Because Central Ohio didn't get more that a teensy weensy insignificant shudder that I just took for my elephantine dog jumping around.

Jzbelle - Ah, I'm in Richmond too. :D And oh gosh, I'm glad your boss gave you the day off! I'm still a little shaken up lol.

Reinabella - I heard the epicenter of it was somewhere in between Richmond and Charlottesville here in Virginia. I'm actually impressed you could feel a little bit of it! One of my friends went out of town to Florida and said she didn't feel anything lol.

I'm from NJ here :) Everyone I know felt it.

I was just sitting at my computer desk, and suddenly the desk, laptop, and TV all started shaking back and forth. It was scary.. But it only lasted for... 40 seconds...?

The funny thing is, is that the moment it happened, I immeadiately thought: "EARTHQUAKE!"

Also, has anyone else felt aftershock? Because the thing we felt was the actual earthquake itself... No signs of aftershock... yet.

Drago lol. I was sitting at my desk when it happened too. xD At first I thought my washing machine or something out side blowing up. XD

I didn't feel any aftershocks though. I thought I heard some rumbling in the distance afterword, but I never felt anything after the initial quake.

THIS.

I'm not even going to start on this.

We're still waiting on the aftershock. If it happens while I'm in the shower I don't care what I look like, I am getting the math out of our house. :I
