1) Out of mine, I think I would have to chose NightGod. Although I love Cochyn, Reannon and Yestin's Welsh/Celtic-ness, NightGod sounds much more... powerful, in a way, like he's someone to fear or admire, or, in general, just someone very powerful. Like he truly is the God of the Night. 2) Although she has so many fantastically-named (spell?) Creatu, Nightdragon's ginger Ahea, Flammenschweif, is just win for me. I love German names, and all her German-named pets have beautiful titles - but Flammenschweif is too great to ignore. Although, pretty much all the users here have decently-named Creatu. :) 3) I'm not too fond of real-world named pets - I often find myself forming their personalities around their real names. I prefer made-up ones, although as long as they make some sort of sence (like my Copperia, or my Uilus, Snowira). However, names which are made up of two real-words (such as my Iluvu, heartblood, or my Zennie, Bloodlover), I like very much. But most of all, real-world names in different languages (like Nightdragon's German-named pets, and my Welsh-named Casau, Cochyn and Hafgan) are most attracted to me. So, it's the real-world but different language names that win this one for me.

1) Never my nattie berrok. =D He obvious glitch name, tho. That means I can't name-tag Siksi to Never! D'= 2) I like Cochyn cuz he be scarlets mascot! =D GO SCARLETS!! 3) I personally like names of already made characters/real people. (GwenSteffani, SkellingtonJack, ect ect)

Trigun, toatal crime agains nature D; You own Vash too, not fair D: 1) That would be hard to chose, Ysbryd meaning ghost or spirit in welsh is a good one of mine, I did own Afflict once lost him in the rollback now someone else has him as an albino Vogar ;w; I did have Skaro too, (mad Dr who fan) Now Nekodragon gots that name >> hurm... I guess I'll have to say Whitterz the black Easaro ;o Whitterz = <3 Or maybeh Ravaging the black Jaaku >>; or Aten the blonde meragon, who is the faceless egyptian god, or Befriti the Orchid easaro wich is an egyptian name meaning Virgin >>; 2) Way to many to chose from D: out of the whole site though I would have to say Vash x3 or Tokyo o3o maybeh Unlike too *pokes Wolfeh* Fire Wing is an awsome name too :o so is Truth and Pain, ah! ZOMAIGAWD, I forgot about Rozi's natural Roditore Bob the Blob x3 hah Allen is just epicful. Oh's another name Feesux x3 Cream Berrok owned by Rozi and also sbmad owned by Rozi, not sure which creatu or colour it is though, all I know is that she has the name x3

Ah, a fellow Japanese-name lover :D. I have some permanent pets with Japanese names too, Tokugawa, Kaonashi, Tsuji, Hitode and Raiun :). Among them I like the name Kaonashi the most (it is the name of that faceless demon thing in "Spirited Away"). He is a cream Jaaku, as Jaakus do seem like wearing a mask for face :).

1) Out of mine, I probably like Haborym the best, which I gave to my black tesuri. I had planned on hatching a veram and tesuri together, name the veram after a demon of some kind, and the tesuri after an angel. Buuut when the tesuri came out black, I thought it more appropriate to call him after a grigori (fallen angel) instead. I've been lead to believe since then, though, that Haborym is actually just a straight-up demon, rather than a grigori (this is from christian demonology).
I also like my meiko's names. Innsmouth (natural) after a location in a horror book I read, then Hellebore (sepia) and Kaffir (black) after toxic plants.
2) I don't think I could really say my favorite names out of the ones I've just come across. I've seen some that were just brilliant, but none of them stuck in my mind for some reason.
3) I prefer more fantasy-like names, I guess, but mostly I just like them to be interesting and at least somewhat original. As such, I have a tendancy to just.. make up most of the names I use straight off the top of my head. This is a pretty hit-or-miss thing to do, so sometimes they come out nice, and other times not so much. And half the time, I end up agitated, because I'll end up really liking a name I spat out for a creatu I had no interest in keeping. Like.. I have a 'Haisa', 'Aurabella', and 'Aeraia' in my shop right now. ><

First of all, I must say I adore 'Spirited away' xD Secondly, erm names that I'm proud to have would be Sephiroth (because I'm a sad fangirl), Cyclops, Oberon, Adrammelech, Allerleirauh, Balmung and Rotheart xD
Actually all the names listed in my shop deion and more I suppose xD Because I can't decide. Best names I've seen would be everything in nighting' shop and Fairy.
Nighting's because Mythology has held a special place in my heart.
Fairy is simply because it's adorable <3 Oh and I adore fictional names, I'm very picky with names from the dictionary because I enjoy real words for their sounds more than anything else. Although it's more or less the same with made-up names, I enjoy them so long as it sounds nice :3 what I do love unconditionally would be names from mythology and fairytales as well as actual names xD Like the ones you would name your bundles of joys. |
