Dye Kit Squishy Patterns are used to make Dye Kit Squishies, which can then be used on Squishies through the Dye Kit Quest in the Games to Dye them, just like you do Creatu. Ex. using a Lime Dye Kit Squishy on a Natural Roditore Squishy would then give you a Lime Roditore Squishy.
I'm not entirely sure since I've never done it, but I think you dye a Squishy by tossing the Dye Kit Squishy and the Squishy into Cooking Basin. Someone might have to confirm/correct me though.
