Where do your pets sell the best?

In the Rancher Shop or in the Auction House?

And at what ages do most people want their pets?

Younge, Middle, or Adult?

I'm not exactly one for selling pets, but it seems to me that the Auction House receives alot of attention. I was a Rancher for two years and barely sold anything, but I know a good deal of people that lurk in the auctions and bid nonstop. xD They move very fast too; there are alot of bidders.

So I'd say your best bet is the Auctions.

As for ages, you'll probably sell better at an older age. I myself like older pets. Most people do. And besides, why not get an older pet?; If you want a younger pet just get it zapped, but you can't age them forward more than to the first day of adult. :3

Rancher shop for me.

Any age, really, since I'm willing to zap before someone purchases a pet. Age doesn't really count as a limiting factor since there are people willing to lend R-Rays for free or the right price. c:

Do you hunt around and price check at other rancher shops before you put a pet in there? Or just put a price and hope that someone comes and buys?

Ive tried hunting pets by price in rancher shops before and I end up going through 3/6 pages of 0 cost pets where they have already sold. Before I can get to the lowest price.

I always use the ACS when pricing my pets. That, or for some, I use general judgment and price them. Blacks sometimes go for 5k, which is way too cheap, in my opinion, and I can easily sell them at 50k if the name is decent. That's much more than what I would have gotten if I followed the ACS.

I find the ACS is better for pets with higher rarities or values, such as species and color.

And you need to narrow your search.

For the price box to the left, put 1, then put 'search by price'.

That will only show you priced pets and leave out the ones not for sale. Also make sure, if you intend to look up sales, you search through rancher shops and not any.

I hope that made sense.

... It made me grin that you said it 'AH'. xD I haven't used that term in aaages.

I'd probably say the Auction House; the Auctions are always very active. Much more active than my Ranch ever was.

Both seem to have the advantages and disadvantages.

While the auction house is quicker, I've noticed that prices are usually way below what they could/should be for pets. It also has the disadvantage that if you forget to delete an auction if nobody has offered on, you'll have to search for ages to get your pet back.

In rancher shops, pets go a little slower but I think it's a better trade. With a little advertising, it normally works.
