question on painted eggs

what are the purpose of the painted omni eggs or the painted kioka eggs? do they hatch the rescreatu or are they just for decoration.

The painted CS eggs give you an avatar and also go into a collection.  You can't hatch any painted egg.

Yep. They're collectibles - a nice-looking, valuable item that'll probably be pretty coveted someday. That's why I bought two sets. xD

They were available from the Credit Shop for a little while. Now the only way to get them is to buy 'em from someone else.
