Pets that you named based off of songs, books, TV shows, and so on

Pets named off of songs: Antichlorobenzene: The name of a Vocaloid song Paradichlorobenzene: The name of the twin song to Antichlorobenzene The Red (Blue, green, and yellow) Alice(s): In reference to the song Alice of Human Sacrafice Pet named after a game: Dewprism: It is the ti tle of an old playstation 1 game, the Dewprism is what your trying to get in the game, but in the translation to english the name got changed to Threads of Fate (that name was taken though, lol) So what did you name you pets after? ~

Normal User Posts: 651	Basically most of my pets in my (Anime/Game) Category is based on... well. Anime and games. Lols.. so i won't go through them ..^^; some of them are based off songs though ;) i.e. Cassis (song) & Hizaki (guitarist) Yeah :D .. n/a

As far as song-related, "Guarded" is the name of a Disturbed song, "Metalingus" is one from Alter Bridge, and then BFMV is "Bullet for my valentine" (band) мα∂ηεss ωιℓℓ cσηsυмε үσυ...

Normal User Posts: 3,642	This is so many of my pets. xD I've got pretty decent Trigun and Homestuck collections. They're my loves. <3 Even if, sadly, I think my Trigun collection is pretty much dead in terms of progress. There's not much that I don't have already, and most of the remaining names are owned by other stubborn fans like myself. A few from Half-Life and Serious Sam. I wish I had more from these but Half-Life is kind of a hard game to buy for, and Sam.. well, I guess I've just been lazy about Sam. xD Several Tool names. The only one-word album name I'm missing is Lateralus, and I just plain have no idea where that one is. o: And then there are some song names, and Peyote, a reference to Third Eye. I really want to put him on a mutant Vaspi right now. But he's already a crow he has to stay a Mirabilis. Some Avatar, some Doctor Who, Pokemon, Zelda, Mario.. aaaand then one or two names each from various other fandoms. Dumbledore, Dargaard, Cloudtail, Alphonse, Knuckles, and whatnot.

Normal User Posts: 1,314	I have a broad bunch of Halo names, including the first set of Spartan main characters - except, I've got their "tag" names xD So instead of John I have SPARTAN117. Same principle for the rest. I have a few of the species' name in the Halo universe, but in their respective languages. I have AbeSapien (short for "Abraham"), PrinceNuada and PrincessNuala from Hellboy, Neytiri from Avatar, Cogburn from True Grit along with PrincessSibylla, that rich lady from Kingdom of Heaven (Lord that film was long...). I have SkellingtonJack, SallyBones and VelvetNightmare too (the latter being the name of Yazoo's signature weapon from Final Fantasy: Advent Children). MasterHowl from Howl's Moving Castle is a blonde Mirabilis, and Kameo, who's from an xBox360 game. I've also got Titanic, which I'm so pleased about xD A collection of LotR names too, but they're mainly places or inanimate things - Hithaeglir is the mountain range that stretches Southward across the map of Middle-Earth, and Anduril is the new name given to Aragorn's sword when it was reforged. These guys make up my Meiko collection mostly, but Itacate, my blonde, was named after the main character in The Goldsmith's Daughter. One mightily good book. Most of the other pets in my Show Room have Welsh names, matched with Creatu that fit their meaning. So... that's it, I guess. I kinda nabbed Neytiri before Avatar was even released, thanks to sneaky online researching beforehand... xD Sly. But her name is one of the proudest I have to own. She's one of my top five heroines. I should dye her azure or something really, black isn't that fitting...

Normal User Posts: 1,895	I have Negaren which is the name of a character on lapfoxtrax. He's on a black Ivik. From the same place I have Queenston the black Aukira. I have Ojizama on a Lime Aukira. That's from Spectrobes. I think I bought that one though. I did hatch Elopuba who is currently lemon. I have Rokudo which is the last name of this dude from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. He's a sepia Quelis. I have SchwannOltorain which is a character from Tales of Vesperia. That's on a Calico Narwi. I also have Belius a sepia Ivik and Zagi the Ginger Vaspi from the same game. I used to have Mordio on a natural Ivik but I gave her to a friend. I have Gattuso the Rose Quelis. I bought the name Pupitar a while ago because I like pokemon. o3o I have MrSamsa on a mutant Goiba. I think that's the name of a cockroach in a comic I read a while back. I don't remember the name though.
