My first hatch on res we've was a mutant ahea from a fresh egg, 

I didn't realise they were (sort of) rare, so I sold it for 2500TU
(Facepalm)

The first day I hatched eggs on Res I hatched a mutant vogar from a fresh egg. He is still on my profile. I dyed him Indigo. I got another mutant vogar later after the fact and dyed it lime. He is on Auctions but will probably come back to my profile as well. I think my three favorite mutants on here are Vogars(which is weird cause don't like them in non-mutant), verams and meragons.

The first pet I hatched (A Gondra) is apparantly a mutant. Is it rare?

I rediscovered this account and had a bunch of rotten eggs or whatever, but I deleted them and found a fresh egg so... luck of the draw, i guess?
