Does it seem like the Botanist gets stuck on certain flowers?

I think he's been on about a pink water flower for at least 3 or 4 days. O_o

I wonder why this is. Because if a flower is picked randomly every 24 hour cycle, then it seems really unlikely that several days in a row it'd be the same flower. So maybe some other factor decides the flower of the day? Like maybe he only switches after a certain number of the desired flower are turned in? Or maybe it's a glitch?

It seems like the system is glitched. He gets stuck on flowers often, so it's highly unlikely it's a coincidence.
