No, not members that are older in age, I mean members that have been on this site for many years.

That's right, I need YOU guys. When I joined this site the Troupe class was nonexistent and the Society class was crashing down (or was it the other way around? Either way both were gone within the first month of my being here). I know there was some sort of exploration the class I started with contained, but I didn't get to do it because it was already broken.

This is where YOU come in. If you remember either of these classes, explain them here! We have 2 books that can't ever get written without your help because no one knows anything about these classes. Any little tidbit helps, from what their main "idea" was to the types of items someone of that class was likely to buy.

Pat - troupe the idea was they would be able to entertain and make other creatu happy, you would have to level up its skills and stuff though

I'm not sure if I can be of any help, but I joined in September of 2006. [or sometime around there}
I remember the Society class had access to caves, I believe?


And aaagh I remember what Troupe was but I just lost it. ;A;

I joined in December of 2007.

At that time Troupe was completely gone, from my memory. I still remember when I was signing onto the site that there were only three classes, including Society.

Perhaps society had more than this, but they had access to caves for their special 'thing' (like how ranchers and merchants have their shops and pets.) These caves were only accessible for certain amounts of time per day, (and to my memory certain amounts of times) where society members would find rare items.

I think this was trying to mirror 'higher society' in which they didn't do much work but got tons of money anyway.

Can't say I'll be much help either, but I can at least offer the little knowledge I have.

I joined back in late 2007 as well, and I don't remember much of the Troupe class either other than the name. I remember only having three options for a class choice when I signed up, though I guess that doesn't necessarily mean that the Troupe class was gone. I just personally don't remember it.

As for the Society class, I agree with the others about the caves bit. They were referred to as the "Ancient Caves", I believe? Apparently, you could try to dig up artifacts daily. I think you navigated the caves by using different directional keys, kind of like how you navigate the Relcore market.
And after doing a bit of research, there was apparently a "Top Diggers" list. Probably had something to do with how many artifacts you had found.
As far as I'm aware, that was the most that ever became of the Society class, though you probably shouldn't count me for it.

I don't know the features of these 2 classes started as merchant myself but have some of the artifacts that came from the caves.
The Prism Shards, most of the Ancient items.
Shame we couldn't still dig, I think that would be fun to do.

I believe you get these items from one of those 2 classes you mentioned. I just don't know which one

For those that waited so long, thank you for your patience. I've been trying for a while but I ended up not getting any new information no matter how much I looked so I used what I had. They aren't as specific as the merchant and rancher but I tried to spice them up a bit and the books are done :)
