This works like a lot of banks.

Mostly, it's for loans.

For now, I'm the only one running this, but hopefully more generous people will join in to help.

This thread is for loaning tu to other users.

This is simple, but fair.

Say you need to borrow 5 mil.

You come here and make a post saying that you'd like a loan of 5 mil.

Then, you take a pet (should be worth at least 2 million tu) and make a trade with whoever offers to loan you that tu.  They will keep that pet in their showroom until they are fully payed back.

The reason we do this is to ensure that you have a reason to pay the person who lent to you back.

Unfortunately, we can't simply rely on trust.  We need to be fully confident that we will get payed back.

Surely you understand, it's nothing personal.

Another precaution we've taken to be sure the tu will be returned is by making a form.

You can't simply ask for a loan for no reason.

You have to have a good reason, like 'Need an extra million tu to afford this pet' or 'Need one hundred thousand tu to update my showroom'.  Not just because you want tu.

People who sign up to give out loans will be referred to as 'loaners'. 

People who ask for loans will be referred to as 'borrowers'.

Rules:

-It is asked that you do not ask for more than 5 million tu at a time.

-You can't ask for another loan until you've fully payed off any previous loans.

-You are to be polite.  This is the most important rule.  If you violate this rule, don't expect a loan from ANYONE on this thread.

-No begging.  No means no, and if you consistently ask for a loan with the same reason, you will be ignored.

-Loaners; Loan at your own risk.  It is strongly suggested that the borrower trades you a pet, but if you are confident that this isn't neccesary, go ahead.

-Loaners; You must ALWAYS quickly and willingly return a borrower's pet once they pay you back.

-TO EVERYONE; IF YOU DO NOT HOLD UP YOUR END OF THE DEAL, NO MATTER IF YOU ARE A LOANER OR A BORROWER, YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO STAFF.  IF A BORROWER REFUSES TO PAY A LOANER BACK, THEY WON'T RECIEVE A LOAN FROM THIS THREAD EVER AGAIN.  A BLACK LIST WILL BE KEPT.

There is no need for interest on loans, but tips are widely appreciated.

Item Loans

This separate post is dedicated to Item Loans.

Items like books and items that give avatars can be loaned to other users here.

Item loans work a lot like regular tu loans, but slightly different.

If you'd like to borrow an item, you ask the user who has that item politely to borrow it.

Then, you send them either tu or a pet worth at least one quarter the item's worth.

This tu/pet will be returned to you once you return the loaner their item.
