I see that a lot of people post pictures of pets they currently own in their forum posts.
How do I do that?

Use the formatting bar in the reply area. To insert a picture, you'd use the icon that says "Add Image" when you hover over it. It's the 3rd one and it looks like a picture with a pencil by it.
