Personally I don't have a problem with the vampires sparkling or the werewolves being people who just turn into wolves (although the books do say they're actually just shape shifters). That's simply creative license, and just because some people don't like it doesn't mean it makes the books bad.
What makes the books bad are all the reasons I listed a few posts above this. xDD
Also apparently there's underwear that has Edward's face printed....well, you can guess where.
