... So I was playing Episode 2 just now. Valve is a jerk. xD
Pretty much I jumped down a hole and landed in a mine cart that went whooshing down into a pit of water the moment I touched it. There were zombies, of course, and I wasn't sure if the mine cart killed 'em all or what. So I'm alone in a pit with a bunch of stupid singing worms and possibly some zombies up above.
I start climbin' back up the ladder, killing the baby Antlions as I go. Kinda distracted by that. And then suddenly when I reach the top of the ladder my friggin' Vortigaunt ally suddenly reappears, pokes his face over the edge, and starts talking in the loudest voice he can. o_o
I jumped so badly.
Also unfortunately there's like. No chance of me getting Portal 2 anytime soon now. xD I.. kinda spent most of my money on Skyrim.
I guess I still need to finish replaying the first Portal though. So that'll be something to do in the meantime.

Yah I totally bumped this just to rage about a totally different game in the series startling me. But I figure this is serving as the club for the whole Half-Life/Portal universe, so it still fits. xD
