Does it matter what dragon I choose to trade?

Like I obviously send over Armos, but what dragon do you want me to choose from your lair? ^^

Oh xD
You can just take treasure from me, you don't have to trade a dragon for a dragon ^^

Those are some pretty babies! Definitely try to get ones with Ice or Gold Crystal or Facet. If you get Ice/Ice/Ice Crystal/Facet/Anything, the babies are worth about 50k, and if you can get the same thing with all Gold colorings, the babies are worth 70-100k. It costs quite a bit to buy two parents, but they pay for themselves in the end.

How does pricing normally work on FR, Sheska? Is there any sort of guide? :3

None that I know of. I know that single colored dragons with Crystal/Facet/and any tertiary besides basic are worth quite a bit, but Ice and Gold are worth the most. I'd check the Auction House to see what good prices are for single colored Crystal/Facets.

Dragons that aren't very aesthetically pleasing are usually bought to be exalted, and are sold around 4.2-4.5k, while ones that look irresistible, I would price around 10k at most, unless you don't mind waiting a few weeks for someone who's willing to pay a lot of money.

"Pastel" colored dragons are also worth quite a bit, I've seen people selling them in the forums for 100-200k, but I'm not entirely sure how to price them or what qualifies as a good-looking pastel.

First Gen dragons are also worth quite a bit, but I'm not sure why. You can get them by hatching eggs you find while Scavenging, but they always have Basic genes and rarely look good. If you want to sell a First Gen in the AH, name it FirstGen so people know.

And if you have the patience, buy skins, familiars, and clothing items that can only be gotten during festivals. In several months to a year, they will be worth at least 10x what they cost. One of the clothing items I got from the Riot of Rot festival when I first joined is worth 5mil now, but unfortunately it's on my avatar dragon and I can't stand to part with it.

That's a lot of info! Thank you so much. I enjoy reading it and learning. Okay, I'll definitely go through the AH. Most of the time, I'll snipe low costing dragons, train them and then exhalt them for extra money.

Other than that what're some easy ways of making gold?

Familiars give you more treasure the higher their affinity level. Once it's reached it's max, Awakened level, you get a Gilded Treasure Chest, which contains one familiar, one piece of clothing, some materials, and about 30k. In the AH, they sell for about 40k. Plus from then on, you get 50 treasure a day when you bond with your familiar, which doesn't seem like much, but it only takes a second and if you have a lot of familiars, you can get a few thousand total from them every day.

The Coliseum can also get you some really nice items and familiars, and Digging can get you treasure chests, while Scavenging can get you eggs. Either of the two also gets you materials, which you can trade at Swipp's Swap Stand if you have enough and he has the offer you want, or you can use the things you find to boil down into ingredients for Baldwin's alchemy.

Buying items from the Marketplace and selling them in the AH for a higher price can also get you some more money.

Awesome! It will be worth a bit less because the tertiary isn't gold, but it's close and Nocturnes are one of limited rarity, so it should still be worth around 70k. Its mate should have a Gold, Sunshine, or Orange tertiary to even it out if you want to get the babies closer to a gold tertiary. (From what I know, dragon hatchling colors are based on where their parent's are on the list (which you can see when you select a color in the AH or in the Predict Morphology), for example if the list goes "Maize, White, Ice, Platinum", and the parents are Maize and Ice, the babies can be Maize, White, or Ice, but not Platinum. Although I did have one hatchling where the parents were Gold and Ice primary and it came out with a Maize primary, so I can't say it's 100% accurate all the time, but I've never seen that happen before.)

It all sounds so confusing. o3o I'll probably have to look into it more to understand how the colors and stuff works. That's what I've really been trying to understand - most of the time I'm just going off of how they look.

I really do want to get more into the technical side of how colors and genes work though.

I go by Chronicle on FR, and I run a hatchery with Wolf (Onslaught on FR)
Been around since April last year and in Wind the whole time!

Most of my pairs are pretty mixed, but I do have a couple of gen 1's
and other misc dragons (unnamed) for sale towards the back of my lair,
to which I'd be more than happy to provide a discount to Resians :)

3mm, you have some really beautiful dragons! Is Unnamed #13957781 for sale?

Also, if anyone wants to breed with one of my dragons, just ask! I do have a few I'd rather not breed, but only 5, and those ones don't make very pretty babies anyways. The rest are all up for free breeding, just send me a message
