Signal snapped awake, jerked up- and promptly smashed his forehelm into the cover of his stasis pod.
He whimpered quietly, his finials pinned flat against his helm in an attempt to stop his audials from ringing.
Ouch.
He ventilated quickly through his mouthplate in an attempt to block out the pain. What if he had planned on waking up peacefully and having a good day? He'll say it again:
Ouuuch.
Well, whining to himself wasn't getting him anywhere. He did a quick self-assessment. He seemed fine (excluding his throbbing helm), and he was, for the most part, in working order. And judging by the darkness outside of his pod, something had happened to the ship. Which meant he should probably be making an effort to get out. Maybe? Yeah, sounded plausible to him. Pushing would probably open the cover.
Oh, great.
The hum of his pod faded out.
Well, wasn't his luck just great?
Hopefully pushing a little harder than usual would solve the problem.
Bracing himself, Signal took a deep gulp of air and fixated on his mark. He'd shoulderjoint-check the side on the count of three... Wait, why didn't he just tackle it right away? Yeah, he liked that idea better.
Signal steeled himself, and threw himself towards-
Pop!
The cover receded, and Signal was flying full-speed out of the pod- and at the ground. He faceplate-planted magnificently.
Signal groaned. Today would not be his day. He could taste it in the floor his faceplate was smooshed against. Oh, how bitter ((can bots taste? o3o)) life- and the floor- was. He blamed it on his fuzzy processor.

While the sounds of people messing with a blockage permeated the air, there is the sound of another 2 pods hissing open, almost at once. Then a series of grunts. Followed by a voice.
“Yes my brother, it appears we have made planetfall, in the most peculiar of ways. And that whomever had the misfortune of pilotting the ship did so with the skill of a first-year rookie.”
After another moment, the 2 robots step slowly from the pod, one in a more ape-like way, the other almost like a swan. Then, the apelike one makes a loud roar, followed by whimpers.
“That is a very perceptive question… Where is ‘here’, and are we the only ones to have awakened? Though the various noises appearing to come from behind that entranceway answer your second question.”
After a moment, the apelike one points at the door and lets out a grunt.
“Yes brother, I agree we should look. But don’t try and roar at everyone."
There is, I think, humor here which does not translate well from English into sanity.

Defcon paused in his conversatino witht he feline-based minicon to turn back at the sound of pods hissing. He frowned slightly before he turned around. "You are most certainly not the only ones awake," he responded before he turned back to making his way out of the pod bay to look around. "And the ship is most certainly worse for wear," he murmured before he looked down to Catalyst, his optics focusing back into the minicon "Can you perhaps lead us to where the rest of the bots are?" he questioned, his tone notably polite despite the fact that he was essentially speaking to what he supposed many other 'bots would consider a pet.

((My apologies for being AFK. I was working quite a bit, though I know that's really no excuse. ;-; I'm sorry))
From the mech with the fantastic entrance to the minicon staring from the floor and the strange duo-bots, Flux had a notion that this was one of Cybertron's more...colourful...space-faring crews. But hey, as long as someone knew the quickest access to the on-board generators and, more importantly, the location of her Tool Box, she could be working with a crew of brightly coloured, classless cassetticons for all she cared.
"Yes, is the captain online?" she asked the minicon, attempting to maneuver over the rubble. "I'd like to get to the generators as soon as possible, or we're going to have a few life support issues with the rest of the stasis pods. Just a few." She cursed quietly as she promptly drove a pede into a heavy piece of bulkhead in the dark. "It'd be nice to get some lights on, finally. Even the emergency running lights." She glanced back at the crew members disentangling themselves from the wreckage, and noted that most carried a few good scrapes and scuffs from being battered about in the crash. The young mech who flew out of his pod, in particular, sported a good dent right in the front if his helm. "I hope we have a couple more medics than we do mechanics on board. I have a feeling we're gonna need 'em."

Also. Exams are a thing that exists and I'm almost positive I'm suffering from an anxiety disorder thanks to none other than my own family. Nice, huh? So I need to survive exams first, even though it's been almost a month since I posted, and sort out this anxiety mess. I'll be able to post after next Tuesday. Exams are over then.))

((I said tomorrow |D I lied. It will be posted today. Things got... complicated, I had a panic attack last Thursday night, had to stay home and recover all day Friday, parents got mad at me for having said panic attack, hid out at my friend's house all weekend...
It ended with me being THREATENED with punishment if I have another panic attack.

There was a look of worry on Sentry's face. Code Blue would only need one, but judging by the amount of crew members who were awake, this little corner of energon cubes would not last long. "Well, we had th's whol' room full b'fore tha crash. Cody'll only need one o' em, but we sh'uld move th' rest o' 'em so thay don't react badly ta th' stuff spilled on tha floor." They had very little fuel left as it is- having the rest of it burst into flames and become utterly useless was not ideal.
"Ah don' wanna leav' this here fer long. Ah'd say we c'uld just load 'em all inta my alt. mode, but thaht mess in th' 'allway's gonna be tricky ta get around without harmin' the cubes..." They might have to bring as many cubes as they could carry back to the medbay and then gather a larger party to carry the rest.

The minicon's audials flickered as he heard a loud pop the distinctive hissing of more stasis pods opening coming from the room they'd just escaped. "So it would seem... " Somewhat distracted, the feline trotted back towards the door to peer into the room. He saw three more bots- what appeared to be a two-wheeler, and two very... interesting looking bots. The minicon thought he would have definitely remembered seeing them board the ship, but then again, he had just smashed head-first into a wall.
Narrowing his optics, the tiger trotted back to the other two, replying to Flux's question. "As I stated earlier, the captain is indeed online. He should know the location of the generators. If you two will follow me, I can lead you to the medbay where everyone is currently congregated. I'll just comm. my partner now to let him know we're on our way."
[Code Blue]
The small medic let out a small "thank you" as Lighthammer finished and stepped back, and quickly closed the space between himself and the berth where Spinbreak was laid up. He used his optical scanner to get a closer look, which only confirmed what he'd guessed earlier. "I-I'll have to remove the armor protecting your back- the circuitry underneath is indeed damaged and needs to be exposed so I can repair it." His stutter disappeared nearly completely, gaining confidence as performing his job soothed him.
Code Blue decided to wait for a reply of consent before continuing, as he was always instructed to do. Unless the patient was unconscious, their consent was needed before removing outer armor.
