Felix stared at her with soft eyes. Gently, he stroked her cheek with his finger. "Lanen....." He breathe din a soft voice. He had a small sad smile on his lips. The pack behind him stayed as silent and watchful as ever, glaring at the man.

Lanen looked up. "Im sorry," she sighed as the fire in her fingers hissed and went out. Taking a breath, she turned to Daraksson and curled her lip. "There's no other need for you to be here, so I suggest you leave. Now." Her voice was cold, colder than Varian had ever heard it before...and he had never heard it like this before. It gave him the chills.

Uhm, Felix...is Lanen, uh, pregnant? Varian looked at Felix with wide gray eyes, then turned his gaze to Lanen. She was staring the man they had once called Da down. He stepped back with his hands up in surrender. "Alright," he was saying. "You win. No one here is mortal...sadly." His grin made Lanen shudder as he finally disappeared. Her strength seeming to leave her, she sunk to the ground.

I'll take that as a yes? Varian said, grinning. If Felix had not been so worried about Lanen, he would have jumped up and whooped. As it was, he simply stood there. "Shut your mouth," Lucide chuckled. "You look like a fish." Lanen sat up, groaning and holding her head in her hands. "I am...fine." She finally said at last, quietly. She leaned against Felix and sighed.

((Meh, I can attempt.)) Lanen woke, gasping at the sharpness of the pain that raced along her spine. Her stomach roiled and she bent over, laying her hands on it and closing her eyes as sweat ran down her face. She reached her mind out to see if she could feel the lives inside of her. The only thought she got was confusion...and three seprate brains. She gasped again and broke hold as pain shot along her again. Despite herself, she grinned.

She hardly heard Felix's voice. "Need a bowl and rags." She hissed. "I can....fill it w-with water....make it hot. Gah!" A cry tore loose from her throat. "The women...Biddy delivered made....it seem so....easy."

Felix shook his head. "Sister! Get them!" he cried to his sister. SHe nodded and left. She was instantly back with a bowl filled with water from the stream and she had ripped her shirt to make rags. She knew what to do. She had helped her best friend deliver her pups.

Lanen snorted and motioned for the bowl to be set down, waving her hand and grinding her teeth against the pain. She would not try to stop Felix's sister if she tried to help, but something also made her want to do it herself; like a wolf. And she could, too. Biddy had been one of the women she had lived with in her earlier years, a healer, and taught her midwifeing. What's a male midwaif called? Lanen thought randomly. A mid...husband?

The shudders stopped suddenly and Lanen fought to stand up. "I've gotta go," She said, wobbling. Contractions came less frequently, as they often did after the first boute. "There's a tree not far off. Big 'nough for this. I should probably go wolf." Her mind buzzed. ((Okay. Should I get too detailed, tell me. Ive seen a lot of animal-an human- births and can get a little carried away. XD Second, If Paige dont show up, there's gunna be 2 pups instead of 3; she wanted to play one))
