Shadow ignored her and eyed the human angerily.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

The human stroked Shadow and kept trying. Another human brought out a leash, while another had a plastic cast. "Sh! Sh! Sh! Its okay girl! Sh!" Benthris walked around, trying to get used to the robot leg. She put her front paws on the fox cages and sniffed the foxes. "Hello fox."

Shadow put her ears back and layed down,snapping at the humans hands again and growling louder.

Shadow perked her ears back up as Benthris appeared and smiled as she got up and wagged her tail. She nodded at her and then looked at the humans again.

Benthris hopped onto Shadow's back as they were led to the prosthetic room. There, Shadow's leg was chopped off and the fake leg was strapped on.

Marble moved to the front of her cage and lay down once more, ears pulling back when she was ignored. "Fighting it will only make it worse honey. They want to make you better," she said, really trying to help the big wolf.
Her ears perked up when she heard a soft, barely audible whine, though, watching as a tiny little sandy-colored thing was lowered nearby. She whined, moving to stick her nose out of her cage. "It's just a little baby...." she said softly.
Ghost let out a soft huff, growling as the humans came in. After living in a home with abuse humans, he couldn't stand them any more. All humans were evil to him. All of them. |

The little Fennec in the cage cried out, struggling to get to her paws and look around. "Mama?" she whimpered, backing up in her cage, which was huge for a tiny thing like her. "Mama!" she cried, looking around. "Mama, where are you?" She pulled her large ears back, eyes wide and afraid.
Marble sighed softly as she lay down, her head on her paws. "You poor thing..." she whispered, watching the baby until she heard little paws coming over. She gave a weak smile, sighing softly. "Hello, little creature. How are you?" she asked gently, tail waving lightly.
Ghost let out a soft growl, not saying a word.
Auror sighed softly, his one blue eye open while his brown eye was closed. |

(Nothing but robot legs and foxes, I guess.) Benthris stood on her back legs and rested her paws on the Fennec's cage and poked her nose in. "Aw, what a cute little creature. It has such big ears!"

The little fennec cried out again, scrambling back in her cage as she curled up into a little ball, whimpering. "Wh-wh-what a-are yo-you....? Wh-where's m-my...m-my momma...?" she whimpered, shaking in a very frightened manner.

Benthris smiled as gently as she could, but it was hard with sharp teeth digging into her skin. "I'm Benthris, and I'm a Siberian Ferret. But in a while I hope you'll think of me as a freind." Benthris scratched the heavier wire on the door, cutting through a little with her teeth. In a few minutes it snapped open. She turned to the other foxes. "Whats the plural for fox? Foxes? Okay. Do you foxes want to run around out here too? I think I can open that from the inside."

The little Fennec whimpered again, sniffling. "Do...do you know where my Momma is....?" she asked hopefully, moving forward a little bit. "I...I m-miss h-her..." She pulled her ears back, looking up at the ferret.

Benthris walked back to the fennec. She shook her head, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "I'm sorry, but if your here your mother must be-" Benthris shook her head again. "Away. As many would say, on a trip to the great kingdom of the sky. Don't worry, you'll see her in a few years."
