Kya stepped back, saying, "I dunno. And sorry 'bout that. I guess I still act like a girlfriend when my boy's upset." She smiled again, but going to stand next to Nathan, hoping he liked her, but not knowing.

Darius blinked. "'My boy's?'" He asked, tilting his head. Nathan cleared his throat, then attempted a smile. This was harder then he thought.

She's just a hugger. It doesn't mean she likes Darius. Nathan thought. Just...a hugger.

"No, no. You didn't butt in. I simply stated that I wasn't talking to you." Ryo said, suddenly a bit worried. "Its okay."

Evessence heaved a sigh. She wondered when Charade would start her magic trick.

pression on her face that couldn't be matched with her thoughts. I really need to stop hanging out with strangers. She thought and turned to Evessence. "I wonder what is taking Charade so long."

Kya then turned, looking at the tiara still on Darius' head and gave her fan girl squeal again, saying, "Ohmygosh!! It's soo cute!!"

No, sorry, Dashz. Kya would be way too young for Darius. He hasn't had a girlfriend since he was three days close to being sixteen, which was six years ago. Kya's like...eighteen, right? She would have been eleven when Darius would have been dating her. And the girl was the one who broke up with Darius, which would be a little awkward.
An eleven year old breaking up with a fifteen/sixteen year old? Seriously.

And then you said that Kya would've broken up with him three years ago. Darius broke up with his last girlfriend six years ago, and then everything went horribly for him since his girlfriend broke up with him. He started the circus for runaway children, which was exactly what he did. Ran away. Anyways, he started it six years ago, and its grown pretty big since then. 
The circus was also started because he himself is a "freak" and people who were talented like him could join him if they didn't like their life already. )

"Oh, I, uh, see..." Darius said, giving Kya the weirdest look. He cleared his throat, then pulled at the collar of his top. "Yeah, um. I'm not your, uh, 'boy.' Sorry." He tilted his head, then walked over to on a crate next to Ryo and Disk, who were still hugging. He tapped Disk's shoulder, smiling.

"Can I borrow him?" Darius asked, still smiling. Ryo looked up, and his tail lashed out once.

"Borrow me?" Ryo started, his eyes hard. "You want to borrow a human being?"

Darius blinekd at Ryo. "...You're a cat."

Ryo blinked too, his arms loosening around Disk. "Oh yeah." He looked down at Disk, as if asking permission to escape her arms. Darius looked back at Kya, who had squealed a while ago.

"I just realized you squealed. Thanks, I think its cute, too." Darius said, smiling and tilting his head. The tiara fell out of his hair, and Darius caught it without moving any part of his body but his arm and hand, still staring at Kya and smiling.

"Oh, um, okay." Nathan whispered to Kya. Although he didn't sound like it, he was extremely relieved that Kya had said what she did. But why couldn't she call him her "boy"?

Nathaniel stared at everyone, then sighed. Yup. Now Ryo had that one girl. Now it was just him and Evessence. He gave her an awkward glance, then looked away, shaking his head. He was in no mood for flirting, and he wasn't exactly interested in Evessence. Maybe because he didn't know her well, and Nathaniel had always wanted to know someone before he started flirting with them. Y'know, go through the whole friendship process and whatnot. But still...
