Artemis watched with sad eyes as the brother and sister Ralts helped Volar, along with Lugia. Lugia had assisted in the sealing of his energy, and stood on the ground with the two until they began to march off. She stepped back and allowed them to depart, she had no right to fight to keep them back, besides, she was certain Volar would be able to convince them.

Suddenly Lugia's pupils shrank and she raised her wings and screeched and crouched down, a wild, frightening look in her eyes. Artemis glanced to the legendary Pokemon and took a step forward, but felt something wrap around her arms and legs, trapping her and taking away her balance, forcing her to fall over. 'ARTEMIS!!!' Lugia screamed mentally, but before she could get to Artemis, she vanished into a strange and sudden darkness.

Lugia flew at the darkness and began to flap wildly and screech at it. The madness that enveloped Lugia's mental powers sent purple bolts thrashing from her body, digging into the ground and pulling it up as she tried to break the darkness entrapping her friend. From the darkness came a purple-hued Pokeball--a Masterball. The sphere struck Lugia and she was absorbed into the ball.

A single laugh was heard from the darkness and it began to dissipate. The same man from before approached and picked up the Masterball and played with it in his hand, tossing it in the air and catching it. "Well well," he said, looking at the motley crew. "What a touching moment, but I have to cut it short. I will be taking the girl and my Lugia. Feel free to chase me, if you would like. I would gladly add your Pokemon to my growing team." A Darkrai, by no means a baby-size, appeared, as well as a Venusaur who held Artemis in its vine Whip. Her mouth was covered and her arms and legs still tied. She cringed as the vines tightened around her and whined involuntarily.

"I look forward to seeing you all. I will be at sea on my ship. I do hope you will join me." Cain laughed again and turned to Artemis and spoke softly to her. "That Lugia is no longer loyal to you, since you were stupid enough to keep it free and wandering about. Anyone could have captured it, and I have done just that. Now your little party at bringing Pokemon and people together is ruined. You were once and advocate for the Pokemon, now you will be an advocate for me." He held the orb out in front of him and Artemis responded by thrashing about madly, getting her mouth free and biting down on Venusaur's vine. The Pokemon retaliated and tightened his grip on her and covered her mouth again, but before he could, Artemis screamed. "You'll die for this, Cain! I swear it on-" but was cut off.

"Let's go. Darkrai, make sure our friends here don't catch up with us in the darkness." Cain ordered, and the Pokemon obeyed, filling the area with a thick fog of darkness. Once the three of them entered the void, it stifled their sound as Venusaur stomped the ground. Soon they were no longer heard nor seen, and the darkness vanished with them.

Volar stopped. He sensed this sudden event. His eyes glowed blue and he roared with rage. "Noo! How could I've been so blind!" He snarled. Then he rushed to find Artemis. He found himself in the Shadows of Darkrai. "Renegade... Now... Destroy this Darkness and help me find Artemis!" he shouted at Renegade whom was around his neck. Renegade did so. Soon he could make out the footprints of the two. The Venusaur and the man. Volar closed his eyes and he saw the Ralts duo come behind him. "We'll help you...." They told him. Volar smiled and then closed his eyes. His telekinetic wave enshrouded the forest again. Then he saw several people were leaving his field. Artemis was in Red to his eyes. So to was Lugia. Then he saw Cain. "You again...." He snarled as he saw the name. "Time for you to die Cain..."

Cain whipped around to face Volar and laughed at him. "I had nothing to do with the Legendary Pokemon's disappearances! They left of their own accord. I am simply taking advantage of this for my own gain," Behind him, Artemis continued to thrash about, her hair fell loose around her face and she breathed heavily through her nose. She yelled something to Volar, but it was lost in the vines around her mouth. With a glance behind him, Venusaur nodded and a blue, glittery powder shot up from his flower, Artemis thrashed a bit more before her eyes drooped and she fell asleep, relaxing once again. "Darkrai, use Nightmare." Darkrai's eyes glowed red and Artemis' face began to reveal pain and she churned in her sleep, not as spirited as before when she was awake, but it was apparent she suffered from some emotional discomfort.

"Listen, boy, I don't care if you have the powers of all the Pokemon. You will not get in my way nor stop me. You have no idea what you're getting in to. Our time here is over and you won't hinder us here any longer. Venusaur, use Stun Spore on the rest of these runts and let's be on." He pulled out another Pokeball from his jacket and dropped it on the ground. An unusually large Pidgeot appeared and Artemis was placed on her back, then Cain and Darkrai climbed on and a yellow cloud spilled from Venusaur's flower. As the cloud moved over the group, it began its paralyzing effects. Cain held on to Artemis and recalled his Venusaur and instantly the bird Pokemon took to the sky, flying away from Volar, Vynessa, and Reila.

The four of them flew to a harbour several miles from there and boarded a luxury ship with the name Aumora printed in elaborate print on the haul. The ship's horn groaned loudly and it shoved off from the harbour before anyone had a chance to board it. It seemed apparent that if any were to get on it now, they'd have to either fly or swim.

Cain placed Artemis on a bed on the ship and gazed down at her. He touched her cheek once, then turned around to Darkrai. "End her nightmares and keep watch of her. When she wakes up, bring her to me." And with that, he walked to the bridge of the ship and watched the sea and clouds pass by them, a hard look on his face and his hands clasped behind his back.

Vyn could sense something. What was it? 

Volar smiled at Vynessa for slapping him across the face. "He thought the Stun Spore would affect me. It bounced off me due to Renegade's barriers and mine.." He then eyed where they flew off. "We've got to save them. I'e got a plan. But we need Reila. It seems Cain needs Legendaries... So we'll lure him with Legendaries. I can use my powers much better now due to the Ralts Duo in these Pokeballs on my belt. They enable me control over my powers by sealing off the extra energy." He explained. "But listen Vynessa... These Master Balls normally corrupt Pokemon against they're trainers. But not when they're protected by my powers. Let me see Oshe, please?" He told her. Then he held out his hand for Oshe and sighed. "We are running out of time for Lugia. Soon the Lugia will be Evil... And cannot be saved. Unless his memories are forced back into reality." He explained. Volar then nodded to his Dragon Pokemon Lakota. She nodded and grabbed Volar's extra Pokeball and went inside it. He smiled and grabbed her and put her in a bag. "Now Renegade. Turn to your True Size..." He told his Giratina. Renegade soon morphed into the full size of an Origin Forme Giratina. "Only when all the others are placed into Pokeballs can I be my True Size..." He explained.

Cain stared at the Masterball containing Lugia. The smell of the salty air compelled him to continue on with his plan. He turned around as two men brought a heavy machine up to him. Once the machine was put down, he placed the Masterball in a crevice and went to push a button, but Darkrai appeared with Artemis by his side. Cain turned around and smiled to her. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty," Artemis glowered at him in response. She looked absolutely haggard. "Well anyway. It's good you're here. I have the chance to explain to you what's going to happen."

Darkrai prodded her closer, and she obeyed. Cain pointed to the machine and said. "This machine enhances everything about a Pokemon. Their power, their level, their size, their personality," Artemis' eyes widened and she shot a stare at Cain, who smiled and nodded. "Yes, you see it now. It takes a while for Pokemon to completely turn evil or to bend to the wicked will of their trainer. With this, it will amplify the compulsion to do evil things and it will also suppress its memories of you." Cain looked at Artemis' face, looking for emotion.  Artemis forced down her tears or any reaction, not giving him the satisfaction.

Cain lingered a moment before shrugging. "Watch as your Lugia loses all its memory of you." And he pushed the button. Dark tendrils of lightning struck the ball and enveloped the orb in a light.

Cain scoffed and watched as the Masterball released Lugia; however, it seemed too late to stop any damage that happened to her. Before them was a fully-grown Lugia, perhaps larger. She stared around at the group below her and Cain grinned. "Ah, excellent. The progress had minimal interruption. Your Lugia should still be under my control." He turned his head to face those behind him and watched for Artemis' reaction again. Her head was dropped and her hair covered her face. Her form shook as she fell down to the ground on her hands and knees. Cain appeared pleased with her reaction and turned to Lugia. "Now, Lugia. Take care of these pests." And he waved his hand towards Volar and the group.

Lugia lingered, staring down at Cain. Her large eye glancing between him and Artemis. "Hmm," Cain said, frowning. "It seems as if she still has a bit of work. Darkrai, feel free to finish that job." The dark Pokemon obliged, sending tendrils of darkness upwards to Lugia. The treads struck Lugia and slowly seeped through her body. From where the darkness touched, her skin broke, causing blood to spill, and the darkness drifted over her body.

"STOP IT!" Artemis cried out and ran to Lugia, but was stopped by the two men. Lugia thrashed about and screamed as the transformation set in. The spines on her back grew larger and curved. The dark spikes over her eyes grew as well and became jagged. Claws formed on her feet and her pupils vanished, turning her entire eye a pallet of white. Darkrai withdrew the threads of darkness, leaving Lugia to fall into the ocean. Artemis shivered a bit and reached to her belt and threw her Pokeballs to the ground, bringing out all her Pokemon.

"Dragonair, Larvitar, Pikachu, take out Darkrai by any means necessary. Arcanine and Feraligatr, you two help me kill this man." Artemis jumped up and grabbed a metal shard from the machine and tore it off, cutting her hands in the process. She charged after Cain, who brought out Venusaur to fight as well as the Pidgeot and a Sneasel. Arcanine went after Venusaur before he could go after Feraligatr, and Feraligatr attacked Pidgeot, snapping her wing in his vice-like jaw. Artemis locked with Sneasel, knocking her over and stomping on one claw while fighting off the other one with her sharp shard from the machine.

Her other three Pokemon chased after Darkrai, Pikachu send Thunderbolts after him while Larvitar threw rocks that seemed to form out of nowhere and Dragonair sent Ice Beams to try and freeze him into place, but no matter what they did, no one was able to touch Darkrai. Cain was leaning over the prow of the ship, searching for signs of Lugia, meanwhile his two guards who had moved the machine for him stood watch, ready to protect their boss.

Dark Espeon teleported herself directly to where Cain was.

Volar's eyes glowed to a bright white. His power over Telekinesis soon exploded out of him. Renegade was thrown back due to this. But as it was still exploding out of him shook it off. Renegade knew what this was. The grief about his first Pokemon exploding out of him. Volar then dived down into the watery Deaths. His power wasn't normal this time. Renegade lingered and saw the Dark Espeon. "Tell me friend... What does a Liberty Blast move look like?" He asked the Espeon, with Telekinesis. "I may've seen it before. Somehow from my egg when I hatched. But not coming from me...." But before the Espeon could answer he dove in after Volar.

The Dark Espeon took a brief second to tell Renegade what Liberty Blast looked like.

((I can't keep doing this. Arvien, you are leading the RP that I started and I'm trying to maintain control of the plot but you keep on god modding and powerplaying. It seems to me that you want to control where the RP goes and when it happens and that's just not working out the way I had planned it. I should have stopped it before but right now it's at a place that I can't repair it without backtracking heavily. I'm dropping out too. You can play it out the way you want, but I don't have the heart in the RP anymore. I'm sorry.))

Reila soon realized that Celebi's sudden growth wasn't the only effect the glowing diamond on the Liberty Pendant had. A Pokemon seemed to emerge from nowhere. Teleported, somehow? It was Metallica the scar-faced Skarmory whom Reila had accidentally left on shore. But Metallica was not alone..behind her was a tall female Meganium, acompanied by a Bayleef and Shiny Chikorita. Reila gasped and a tear came to her eye as she recognized these grass-types.

"It's you...Mama Meganium...Sister Bayleef...and Amberleaf..." Reila whispered.

"Who are they?" Celebi asked.

"These...are my family." Reila whispered. "I ran away from hhome at the age of 6...and these Pokemon raised me as their own." Dark Espeon gave a nod.

"Just as the ancient wordings fortold..." she whispered, before turning back to Cain. "In the time of greatest need, the Liberty Pendant will bring help, no matter where the wearer of the pendant may be." Mama Meganium stepped forward next to Reila, as did Sister Bayleef and Amberleaf the shiny Chikorita. Reila looked at them and back to Cain. But although she showed determination...she showed fear as well, in her eyes.
