Tide followed shadow and her friend to a cave with pups so he backed down assuming that those pups are shadow's.

Denali stopped growling as Shadow brushed her tail over his muzzle and the stranger wolf came closer. He walked backwards until he hit the edge of the cave, and sat there low.
Aidan felt a spark flow down his spine at the pain-filled howl. He shivered violently for a second but then began to run as Madera started moving faster. He was small and Madera was big- and him moving fast was like Aidans own running.

Madera walked at a faster pace for a few minutes, then looked down at Aidan to see if he was keeping up. When he realized he was going a bit too fast for the pup he slowed down to his normal speed with a mumbled " Sorry. " He hadn't meant to strain the pup like that, but that howl set him on edge and made him want to leave the area as fast as possible. He glanced up at the tree canopy as he walked, trying to see what time it was. Once it got late he would rest with the pup. When it was dark he would see about hunting something. Prey was easier to catch at night because it couldn't see as well as he could.

"It's okay." Aidan mumbled. Madera returned to normal speed and so did he. He noticed that Madera was trying to tell the time of day. Aidan thought it was probably noon, but didn't say so because he thought the older wolf's guesses would be more accurate.

Shadow listened to the wolf as it spoke,but soon heard paw steps and thought to herself,'Great,more intruders.' Then she spotted both a male wolf and a female near the cave and exited,this time her siblings coming with her. They surrounded the two wolves and started to nip them as Shadow got back into the position she had showed towards Jack when he intruded. "Why did you intrude on my territory!? I should let my siblings rip you to shreds!",she demanded and seemed annoyed by all the trespassers today.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Denali flattened his ears as Shadow shouted. She could really sound frightening... Denali shivered. Boy, he did NOT want to get on the bad side of her. He whimpered and lay down, trying not to get in the way.

But then Tide thought again and said maybe extra meat is in this cave, so why not attack and then he jumped into the cave and found shadow in position.

Wisdom wakes up on a cold floor. She yawns and slowly gets up. It has been a very long night. She could barely sleep. She kept having dreams but she couldn't remember them. Oh well, she thought as she found her way out of the dark cave. She had to find other wolves. It had been a lonely 2 years from what she can remember.

Shadow growled louder at the quick movement of the male and lashed out,giving a swift bite to his neck and clawing his face. "I asked you a question! Now answer me!",she demanded,her eyes flooding with anger as she stared at him.

Denali yelped as shadow bit the other wolf's neck and clawed his face. He lay closer to the ground and covered his eyes and ears with his paws.

Tide growled and howled and said:"Stop it, stop it leave me alone ill answer any question take a chill pill girl i didn't hear you, iam not a very good fighter." his neck and face were full of blood and lied on the ground and said:" I think your attractive." and he leered at her.

Wisdom heard howling and found wolf tracks and started to follow the sound and tracks. She'd been so lonely. She had to find someone or something or she might go insane.

" It looks like its a little after noon so maybe in an hour or two we can rest for a little bit. " Madera said. He had to admit that he was looking forward to resting for a few hours. After all of that failed hunting he did earlier he was starting to get tired. Scavenging had made him a little less hungry, which was nice, but it wasn't perfect. Once night hit he would be rested and ready to eat. It might feel a little bit like the old pack had. That would certainly be nice.

Aidan suddenly had a flashback of walking through the woods, joking around with older brother Denali. He stopped walking. He went back to the flashback and saw the bear reared up- then Denali running away- then the ground as he ran... And then he came back to reality, panting and staring aimlessly. He looked over to Madera and for a second saw Denali standing in his place. Aidan yelped and shook his head, and was glad to see that Madera really was there. He trotted up ad walked closely next to him, at the moment feeling like he would never leave Madera.

Shadow growled at the wolf even deeper and hit the top of his head,forcing his head to hit the ground. Then she looked over at poor little Denali and scolded Tide,"See what you made me do.",then she walked over to the poor little pup and sat down beside him,immediately softening up and whispering,"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you." Her siblings then came in and sat down,blocking the entrance,so the male couldn't escape.

Denali looked up at Shadow who came up to him. She was a clever wolf, making the other male think that it was entirely his fault that He was hiding. "It's OK... But don't bark deeply so it sounds like a roar... It brings back bad memories..." He mumbled, just loud enough for the big black wolf beside him could hear. He sat up a little now.

Shadow smiled and said,"Ok,then I won't do that. For your sake." Then she gave him an affectionate lick on the forehead and went back to stand in front of the intruder that had dared to step foot in her den.
