Ivystar glanced at her apprentice. He was looking at her curiously, as if wondering what was going on. Should I tell him? But what if it put him on alert? Maybe later, when it all settles down. She looked around, for her deputy but did not see him. However, she did see something. It's a fish! And a big one! Ivystar padded to the waters edge and looked down, it was still there. When she splashed her paw in and hooked it up on one claw, it slipped out of her grasp and fell back into the water with a splash. "Mouse-dung." She mumbled. Maybe Silentpaw would want to come hunting? She trotted up to Silentpaw and asked; "Would you like to come hunting with me?" As she waited for a reply she realized how broad his shoulders were getting. I ought to make him a warrior soon. He's certainly old enough, and he has the right skills.

Flamestar looked at Falconwing, and sighed "I will tell the clan who will be fighting tomarrow before Moonhigh, but for now you will lead the dawn border patrol, and sunhigh hunting patrol... You can pick anyone to go with you only two though." He said

Thornfire shot a look of disbelief at the she-cat. He shook his head. "I can't believe cats are actually following Flamestar's plan." He mumbled unhappily to himself. He swished his tail. "No, I'm going, Flamestar. You should stay back." He mewed briskly. When SwampClan sees the leader of FlameClan leading the raid, what would they think of them?

Flamestar looked at his deputy "Fine Thornfire you should lead it, I'll talk to you when i get back from border patrol... unless you want to lead that too." He spat and waited for him deputy for an awnser.

Thornfire flattened his ears again. "I don't want a fight, Flamestar." He growled quietly. "Not in front of the Clan." The tip of his tail twitched towards the audience comprised of the FlameClan cats. |

Looking down at Ivystar from his pertch in the apprentices den, SIlentpaw nodded enthusiastically and jumped down. Landing with a soft grunt, he trotted up to his mentor. "Of coursew." He meowed solomly; then again he was never a very happy-go-lucky cat. "Where are we hunting?" |

{Tld: If no one else wants to mentor Coalpaw then Fallenbane can do it.} Flicking his ears in surprise Silentpaw wondered what was up with his mentor. She seemed more subdued then usual. That was not in the best interest for the clan, so he thought, considering Flameclan was acting so hostile. Finally he sighed and nodded, thinking. "Perhaps some fish will be out by half tree looking to warm themselves." He suggested, going from one paw to another in slight concern. Not to mention he did not want to be caught by the Flameclan border if the other clan decided to attack any time soon. |
