Crystal glared at Lance.  "What are you doing here?" She asked, looking disturbed.  "The last thing I need is some weirdo sitting on a chair near my brother, looking like he's obsessed with the waves or something." She was talking darkly, like always.

"You don't have to be so mean." Brian said quietly.  "He's just some man, seriously."

Lance looked at Crystal. "Oh, I thought I was alone" he snapped. "I hate to rain on little miss smarty pant's private party" he smiled meanly. He turned back to the waves. They kept his mind away from his dark past. His mother left him at age four and took his older sister with her, leaving him behind with his father. His father got drunk everynight and when he got drunk, he took it out on Lance and that was never a good thing.

Estelle woke first to notice a big drool puddle beneath her mouth. She quickly took the back of her hand and whiped it away. No-one saw that right? she asked herself noticing Rose was asleep as well. She sat up a little nudging her sister to pull up her bathing suit. 

Rose was not easy to wake but she at first turned, then she sat up glaring at Estelle. "What?" she snapped. Estelle pointed at the bathing  suit, it was turned the wrong way from sleeping on it. Rose blushed. Her cheeks turned rose red and she pulled it back to the way it was. 

Estelle was first to spot the white cat on a guy's belly. "Who brings a cat to the beach?" she asked. They were hesitant to walk over there and ask since it was a boy but after 5 minutes of pushing and belly stabbing they managed to get both of themselves over there. "Umm... my chicken sister and I were wondering what the heck you are doing by bringing a cat to a beach party!" Rose remarked. Estelle grumbled holding her belly.

Sitting quietly behind the rest of the main group, Faythe sighed in annoyance and plopped down onto her back in the cool and, hands resting behind her head. How she hated crowds, or groups of more then two people in general. Scowling at the sky, the girl tried to let her mind wonder away from this place, where the sound of crashing waves and other teens made thinking almost impossible. If it wasn't for Jace, who literally drug her to this party, she could be at home playing her Xbox and listening to her 80's rock bands; actually having fun. But no, her persistent friend (though how she was friends with the loud mouthed blonde was beyond her) yelled in her ear for three days straight on how cool this party was going to be, so she finally gave in and went. Of course dragging Dimitri along for the ride was the only up to this lame outing. 

Speaking of her friends, a shadow suddenly loomed over her, bright blue eyes boring into her own with that annoying happiness to them. "If you don't move your freakin face Jace i'm going to punch it." Said male moved back, because he knew she would follow through with her threat. Yes, she enjoyed her bluff over Jace, who'd had the unfortunate experience more then once of angering her. "Why don't you go playing in the ocean or something, perhaps drown yourself or get eaten like a good little boy." She added, moving her arms so they were now covering her eyes.

"What are you so grumpy about Faythe? I kinda thought getting you out of your dingy apartment for a few days would do you some good." Jace mused lightly, voice grating on her already fried nerves. He could have swore he heard a low mutter of 'I hate you' come from the small woman. Rolling his eyes, Jace decided to leave the aggressive female alone for a bit, not wanting to push her to far to fast. Faythe sighed in delight as she heard her blonde 'friend' walk off towards the m*censored* of other people. But of course her luck never lasted to long as another body sat down beside her, almost making no sound. Letting her arms fall away from her face, she scowled slightly, letting her eyes roam over the sky rather then the male sitting next to her. She knew Dimitri would not start a conversation, he was about as socially backwards as she herself was. One of the reasons she was friends with him and actually did not mind his presence. Huffing, she chose to ignore the much larger male beside her.

Soviet's ears pricked up when two girls approached and he jumped off his owner's stomach to look up at them curiously, sitting in front of them and flicking his tail.

Saul set his book down beside him when he felt Soviet get off. When he heard the girl speaking, he sat up and looked at them in surprise, giving them an nervous smile a moment later when and blushing a bit from embarras.sment.  

"O-Oh, um..." Saul looked away nervously. "I hadn't actually known there was a party. I go to college a few hours from here and I thought I'd come down to relax a little after a major test. Soviet... well he's probably my only friend, and I couldn't leave him at the dorms because my roommate couldn't keep an eye on him and I'm not supposed to actually have him." He felt his ears heat up from embarras.sment. What a dork he must look like to them. 

Ace walked down the beach and by Saul. She greeted him with a friendly,"Hello."

Calyx followed closely behind and said he'd be at the party. He quickly shuffled past and dissapeared within the m*censored* of people partying.

Ace called after him,"I'll catch up later."

Rose looked at Soviet. "Your a good kitty," she said rubbbing his ears and petting his back. Estelle groaned. She crossed her arms and kicked the ground. I cannot believe you like this cat, that guy is a freak she thought to herself. Estelle walked away, she went back to her beach chair and picked up her book. 

"Oh, I'm Rose. That my twin, Estelle and you are?" she asked smiling at him but still petting Soviet. "Soviet is so sweet, I wish mom would let me get a cat, I LOVE black cats but tabbys are great too and-" she stopped and spoke lower. "I'm talking too much!"  she thought to herself.

Soviet let out a loud purr, pushing into Rose's hands. She was a good petter and he already liked her.

Saul smiled softly, noticing how Soviet was acting. "He really like's you." he said, smiling a bit more. "And my name's Saul. It's always nice to meet a fellow cat lover... although I don't think your sister liked me too much." He frowned a bit, glancing over at where Estelle was before giving Rose another smile. "So did you come for the party?"

He then looked at the other girl who had approached him, giving her an equally nice smile. It was rare for even one girl to talk to him, let alone two rather pretty ones. "Oh, hi." he said sweetly.

Saul couldn't help but feel a little odd around the other girl. It seemed rather odd that she would randomly approach him out of the blue. Still, it was probably just his imagination, so he should at least be polite.

"I'm doing well. Wasn't expecting the party though." He answered. "You?"

"I'm doing good as well. Just trying to avoid the party. I tend to get quite clostraphobic(sp?) around large groups of people." Ace responded woth a light shrug. She didn't find it very odd that she tended to talk to random people. Sometimes it could get a little awkward, but eventually she made friends.

Kris and Ben approached the party. "I don't feel like much of a crasher right now. We are on a beach and there is no one around to stop us." Ben said.

Kris rolled her eyes. "Yes I realized that, Oh Wise One, I was just joking around. Either way, it's something to do right now."

He lifted his camera, taking a few shots of different groups of people. "Yeah, whatever. Let's just go then." He let the camera hang by its strap and headed to the center of the party, Kris following behind.
