Brooke then heard Trent's comment. Her cat-ears picked up everysingle words. "Don't be so snappy," She whispered softly. "I was only trying to get some conversation." Tiger then walked up to Trent, pucked on his pants, and walked over to Elise, purring. Brooke tried to hold it, but she burst into hystarical laughter. "Good boy, Tiger!"

Crisis sighed and rested her head on her knees. She didn't feel that bad that she wasn't noticed. But, weren't they all supposed to be friends? they had all gone on the trip together but everyone seemed in a very sour mood. She gave Brooke a quizzical look before she was about to say something, but decided not to. Wasn't a good enough reason to speak, she thought. She picked up her backpack from the floor quietly and took out a small book. If nothing else was going to happen, she might as well read, to do something.
It wasn’t long before she got bored of doing that. She put the book back into her backpack and just sat. “… So, we’re all not friends, then?” she said venomously. She was tired of the bad mood, even if she was used to it. But when her ‘friends’ acted that way, it just wasn’t right.

ooc; Failure. xDDD

"Disgusting little felines, I never have liked them," Trent said in disgust, walking to where the water was kept.
"Was that even necessary, Brooke?" he asked from the kitchen.

Drew only stayed silent, trying to figure out in his head where he had been the past week. He couldn't remember what happened before the past week, and little before that. The fact that he could remember nothing from before frustrated him, and he was wondering if the strange light he had seen during that past week had been real, or if he had been hallucinating.

When Crisis spoke, Drew smiled, but he wasn't sure if anyone could see it. He was standing in the shadows, thinking about what happened and what he should say to break the awkward silence and heavy air.

Nothing came to mind, which didn't bother Drew too much. All his life, he hadn't had much to say, nor had he attempted to make friends with people he was invovled with. So, why start now? He had had friends before, but they weren't these people. The most he knew about the teenagers he was with was their names, genders, and their appearance. Maybe he knew pinches about their personalities and how to keep from getting on everyone's bad side and whatnot, but, he still planned to keep his mouth shut.

Especially about the fact that he knew so much out of no where. What had that light done to him? He didn't know, but he wanted to know. It was necessary that he knew. He didn't know why he wanted to know, but...

Drew blinked. Had he been spacing out?

( Heh. o.o Watching good shows always gives me a lot of muse, even if it's sucky muse. )

Brooke said, "What's unessesary?" She instantly grabbed her Tiger charm, and it dazzled in the sunlight.

"The fact that you brought that hideous creature with you to Canada," Trent began, rolling his eyes, "and the fact that you one of them."
Ever since Trent was a young child, he'd despised cats and felines of all sorts. He'd been raised around dogs and had learned to become attached to them.
"How old is it?" he inquired, referring to Tiger's age.

Brooke tried to hold back a hiss, a literate cat hiss. "What's so wrong about felines, leash-lover?" She then answered the question. "Three years old." She then allowed herself to hiss. Tiger then perked up his ears and mewed to answer the hiss. "Your right, I should calm down, but that dumn dog-lover is a jerk!"

Crisis watched the two argue with a bored ex
pression. Well, she had to admit it was better then reading a boring book, that she had already read about a million times. She guessed that the reason they were so grumpy was the fact that they had nothing to do. Still, she was confused as to why they were arguing over such a small thing.

"Well maybe the fact that they are cruel, backstabbing little creatures," Trent pointed out, trying to stay calm. "They aren't real animals, they'd rather sleep then play, paw at you then give you affection, and only love you for the food you give them," he added, a smooth tone in his voice.

"At least my Grandmother wasn't killed by a cat!!!" Brooke found it hard to breath. "One of those- things you call loyal compainions, one of those things killed her!" The scene flashed in Brooke's eyes. Her walking hand-in-hand with her Grnadmother, called Mrs.Loland. She was only six at the time. Her eyes had stared in horror as the doberman had torn the corner, rushed at her and giving her a huge, gaping wound at her neck. She was so angry, she swiped her hand and claws came out.

"Not all dogs are like that," Drew murmrued from the shadows, sitting down on the cold floor. "The dog you had run into must've been trained to be that way, or was simply a dog who felt threatened and decided that your grandmother was the threat." He sighed. "Either way, it's not like all dogs are like that one dog."

"Your grandmother probably abused animals," Trent stated honestly. He'd known many people who abused animals and were later punished for it.
"Cats are bitter, foul creatures who love you only for the food you give them," he repeated. Trent knew that it was impossible to develop a relationship with a cat, his mother tried to many times and was later clawed aggressively.

"My Grandmother did not abuse animals! She worked at the SPCA, for god sakes!" Brooke was nearly ready to shred Trent to pieces. She then sighed and let her claws in. "Here's something for you; I don't give tiger food, he catches it. I only feed him if he doesn't have access to rodents or birds. Yet, he still loves me. I admit it, they're both good companions. Now lets stop it, okay?"

More overreacting.. Crisis thought. In her opinion, this had to be the worst fight in history. And to think this hissy fit had started out when someone voiced their dislike of cats...

Trent sighed, he'd always enjoyed a good argument.
"Alright," he agreed, now out of things to talk about. He rubbed his eyes, letting out a little yawn. "Has anyone seen Elise?" he inquired, he knew that he'd sen her moments ago.

Drew looked up at Trent, having expecting him to drop it like Brooke had asked. It was quite a coincdence that her grandmother worked at the SPCA, and what he found even weirder was that a grandmother was working. Overall, he thought both Trent and Brooke were stupid for arguing over cats and dogs.

But, what could he say about it? It was probably just the uncomfortable air that made everyone so snappy. Even him.

"No, not really," Drew said, blinking at Trent. "Except for when she said something about having returned..."
